Overview & Reviews
The 2005 Chrysler 300 is an all-new, rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan; it replaces the Concorde and 300M. In a clear move away from the cab-forward design theme Chrysler championed in the 1990s, the 300 represents the company's bold new direction and makes use of plenty of Mercedes-Benz technology. Available features include Chrysler's Hemi V8, stability control, side curtain airbags and, later in the year, all-wheel drive.
- Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
- Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, complex stereo controls.

Better than Lexus 430 - 2005 Chrysler 300
By Jacobs - February 14 - 9:50 amPrevious Lexus 430 owner. More leg room, equal ride. Loaded for half the price. Handling, turning radius superior.

Car of the year, oh yeah - 2005 Chrysler 300
By Matt Miller - February 10 - 11:30 pmHave only had this vehicle for a couple days, but am loving every minute of it. This car gets more looks than Jessica Simpson in a two piece. Love the power and the fact that I feel I need to wear my Armani evrytime I am in the car. I have the navigation, and it is well worth the money along with the H.I.D lights.

I never thought I would buy a Chrysler - 2005 Chrysler 300
By 300hemi - February 8 - 10:00 amFabulous, fast, and gorgeous. Better than an S class at half the cost. The torque and power are grin inducing every time I put the hammer down. The interior styling is Infiniti/Lexus elegant (a good thing)and no one can touch the exterior styling.

Best Sedan out there, period! - 2005 Chrysler 300
By Jason Walker - January 26 - 4:23 pmVery nice car!! Needs back seat heaters however, and better designed cup holders. Also needs a locking gas filler door! For $37K you would think there would be a locking gas filler door!! Also needs DVD player option with the GPS feature, at least while the car is parked.

A constant Rush - 2005 Chrysler 300
By stall - January 13 - 7:50 amI got my 05 Chrysler 300C in August of 2004. Nothing but happiness since then except for the Continental tires. No tranny issues, no wind leak, no complaints at all. Ive got 19.5K on it now and my experience mirrors the long term test at Automobile Magazine. Their 7 or 8 months into a full years test and using 12 drivers report no issues. My 300C goes like hell and gives me a rush whenever I take it out. My Wife usually takes it so I end up with here Camry. Its a pretty good car except for loosing head gaskets (2) and requiring no-doz because its as boring as driving a toaster. Regards to all

arg - 2005 Chrysler 300
By rushics - January 12 - 1:03 amthis car and the dealer i bought it from are absolutely awful. within less than 3000 miles the transmission blew up. . . .twice. the dealer refused to replace the car so now i have a brand new car with a twice rebuilt transmission. its a nice looking car, and fun to drive- but that doesnt mean anything when its in for serivce 30% of the time ive owned it.

Excellent Crash survival - 2005 Chrysler 300
By Ontario Glen - January 4 - 4:00 amThis is the first Chrysler that Ive owned and I loved every minute of it... until Aug 31 when I got T-Boned. After that I Love AND Respect it. The car performed exactly as it should. I was hit by a van running a stop sign. A square hit to the rear drivers door and rear tire. The car started to spin until the ESP kicked in and straightened it out, because of that the car went straight into the ditch and didnt slide sideways and roll! The rear seat was contacted by the door panel but no breach into the passenger compartment. No windows broke. This is an example of excellence in design. Thank-you Chrysler
