  • Vintage look & Luxury-all in one - 2006 Chrysler 300

I absolutely fell in love with the "vintage" look of this vehicle but when I actually had a test drive, I knew this was to be my next vehicle. This car has all expected in a comfortable, luxurios ride. The extras like satellite radio, navigation system, mp3, (6) CD player, heated leather seats, dual air/heat temperature controls, rear seat air/heat, automatic rearview mirror dimmer and extra large trunk are absolutely exceptional. I would only warn perspective buyers of one thing, the small front side windows for the driver and passenger can at times make it difficult to get a clear side view, badly needed views necessary for entering freeways or exiting curbside parking.

Most fun with a new car since the 60s. Plenty of power when you need it. Turns heads like it was a sports car.

First driving impressions are that this feels like a luxury car. But stomp on the pedal or push deep into a corner and youll think its a sports car. Great combination of rich features & high performance. Ive taken a few long road trips across Texas and you can eat up the miles at 120 plus mph while your passengers sleep comfortably. The interior room and truck space are incredible for a car with this level of performance. The mechanic at my local dealer says he rarely sees one come in for repairs, which is a good sign. Note that synthetic oil is a $75 - $100 affair, and it eats gas and tires (every 15k miles at $300 each), but even after paying my $$$ I think its worth every penny!

Use to own Mercedes S500 and SL600. This is really better than expected for a very reasonable price regarding equipments

  • So long Infinity!!! - 2006 Chrysler 300

I love it! This thing beats my old Infinity G 35 hands down. Its faster, better looking, and better built. I was at the nissan dealership getting the G 35 fixed all of the time. What a pile of junk it was compared to this. I have had no problems whatsoever. Great Car

I didnt like this car at 1st sight but after driving it and being around it (i had 3 of them in my rental car fleet in the last year but all were base 300s with 6 cylinders) it has more than impressed me. I owned a 1999 and a 2002 300m both of which my wife and i loved. This car is just so different that it took some time to get used to. We really like the interior and gage design they are very easy to see and read. Also chrysler finally lit up the cruise control and radio controls on the steering wheel. That was one thing i didnt like about the 300ms they was hard to use them at night.

Great performance. Great car. Vast improvement over Chryslers of the past. The only problem that I have (a minor one) is that when you stomp on the gas pedal, the engine almost red lines before the transmission shifts.

A car that boost your selfesteem. Rides wonderful. Comfort is there. Options added to vehicle makes life much more comfortable. A dream car that demands attention from near and afar.

  • Whats this?!? 6mo. follow-up - 2006 Chrysler 300
    By -

Oh man, this car is still the one! Everythings still great, Im more convinced now than ever before. After having dispatched a bunch of challengers, I just found out yesterday just how much power the ESP robs! I didnt just get sucked mildy into my seat this time, the difference was joyfully uncomfortable. Im not suggesting making a habit of driving around with your ESP off, but if its NOT a habit, and youre having the stoplight jitters about the grinning WRX-driving brat next to you, disengage the ESP, hang on to the steering wheel, and score one for grown folks everywhere!
