This Year's Model Updates:

The 2005 Chrysler 300 is an all-new, rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan; it replaces the Concorde and 300M. In a clear move away from the cab-forward design theme Chrysler championed in the 1990s, the 300 represents the company's bold new direction and makes use of plenty of Mercedes-Benz technology. Available features include Chrysler's Hemi V8, stability control, side curtain airbags and, later in the year, all-wheel drive.

Pros:
  • Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
Cons:
  • Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, complex stereo controls.

  • Hot...and a Great Value, too!! - 2005 Chrysler 300

Gr8 looks, fun to drive, great ride, nice solid feel, flat on the corners (what a change from my SUV!!), powerrrrrful, classy, & feel safe. Nice to see MB features incorporated (Ive had 3 MBs b4). Mine is fully loaded w/ALL opts. Mileage a bit sucky (15) so far, hoping it will improve. No disappointments but think many small things overlooked. 1/2 pwr pass seat is tacky, NAV shld not require CD/Radio be playing to function (have to mute), my arm slips off windowsill as its too narrow, even tho my seat is all the way down I still have to lean over to rest arm on armrest (Im 6). Headrest is annoyingly too far forward, cant adj. Auto seat-move-to-rear stops func if u touch mem recall.

Just got my 300C on Friday (5/21/04)...had a chance to test the HEMI all weekend. All I can say is "WOW". First American car Ive ever purchased (they finally got it right!). Everywhere I go people break their necks trying to get a glimpse. I was stopped at Wal-mart and some guy just asked if he could look inside...

This car is incredible. I bought this over the E class and the 5 series. You CAN NOT do better for the money ANYWHERE. Expect this car to increase by at leat 10k over the next year. The bgest looking luxury car ever designed. I recommend the limited or the C. Nothing less.

Outstandihg ride, solid likes its glued to the road, seamless performance, didnt feel the 4 cylinders kick in or out, never feel a lack of power. The Nav system is great, radio is great, and comfort is tops. On recent road trip w. 1200 miles on the odometer, drove 80+ and got 24 mpg.

Very enjoyable car to drive with more than sufficient power and excellent handling capability. Also an eye- catcher. Ive had more people stare and stop to talk to me about the car that Ive ever experienced.

  • Can You Say Hemi? - 2005 Chrysler 300

Where have you been all of my life? The powers that be from Motown took a little while to bring us back the good old days but its here. It was better for it to show up late to the party then to never at all. Think 1960s American muscle meets European luxury meets Japanese technology wrapped up in one beautiful, sophisticated, and powerful package. If you have to fly underneath the radar, look elsewhere. Youre Tom Cruise in Top Gun in this baby.

  • Purchased for wife, love to ride - 2005 Chrysler 300

This car truly brings back the days of the 60s muscle cars. My wife and I were looking for a new car and this time it was her choice to make. I had been privately salivating over the 300C, but never made mention of this to her. She said, lets go test the 300C, thats a great looking car!" She test drove it, as did I and the rest is history. The car drives as great as it looks. Its appeal transcends generations. At full throttle, it will push you back in the seat. This 4100 lbs. beheamoth can rocket. It handles nicely, especially on the freeway. The car is comfortable and the interior is roomy. Neither of us have experienced a claustrophobic effect as reported in CR. Great car!
