This Year's Model Updates:

The 2005 Chrysler 300 is an all-new, rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan; it replaces the Concorde and 300M. In a clear move away from the cab-forward design theme Chrysler championed in the 1990s, the 300 represents the company's bold new direction and makes use of plenty of Mercedes-Benz technology. Available features include Chrysler's Hemi V8, stability control, side curtain airbags and, later in the year, all-wheel drive.

Pros:
  • Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
Cons:
  • Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, complex stereo controls.

Very happy with overall styling and performance. Like the get up and go that the Hemi provides. Rides for smooth and quiet. It has that hemi rumble when sitting still. Cannot feel when displacement comes into effect.

To small of an engine for the base Model. Performance, sluggish. What were they thinking? Nissan Altima has a bigger Engine, Jeep Liberty---3.7!!!!!!!!!!!!

Upon seeing the 300C on the road my wife said what is that? I said I dont no, upon a closer look to my surprise its a Chrysler, I went to a friend who has a small used car lot, just so happens his salesman had just bought one, and he got to drive it. He has a new Vette, he went on and on.My wife is not one to go bonzo over any car,we went to a dealership on a Friday night drove The Hemi as we call it,and bought it,it was a birthday present for her.Back in 1967 when I got home from Viet Nam I bought a 67 Vette, when I drove it it was a new experience every time I drove it, I was 20 years old then, Im 58 years old now and The Hemi brings me right back to that place in time. One word AWSUM.

  • Living with a new Chrysler 300 - 2005 Chrysler 300

The car is simply drop-dead gorgeous. I have had it for about 6 months, and I still do a double-take every time I walk up to it. No other car I have ever owned inspires so many comments from other motorists. The ownership experience is superb as well. Dealership service has been ideal. Living with the car every day never disappoints. It is very economical to drive, and wonderfully accommodating. I cant wait to take an extended trip it it. Bottom line--when you consider the very reasonable purchase price and all that you get for it, no other new car from any other manufacturer, domestic or import, even comes close.

Rides terribly terribly on bumpy roads. Has steering wheel kick when hittng a bump. Have to constantly correct the steering. Cant see the lighted dials in the day time. Too dim Can not read any of the 3 stalks from the drivers position. Speedometer hard to decern my speed. Cannot see the the traffic lights when Im first at the light. Have to hunch over to see the green light. Very annoying. Now that Ive had it a while the interior looks very plain. Complicated radio controls.

As a previous owner of 3 Cadillac STS models, i was dubious about the 300C as a replacement. I can honestly say that, for the money, this is an awesome car. It is great to look at; a pleasure to drive; performs and handles great; and it is classy and comfortable.

  • Classy vehicle for price paid - 2005 Chrysler 300

Of all the vehicles I have owned, I would have to say the 300C (fully loaded) is tops all the way. There have been so many positive compliments on my vehicle from friends and strangers alike. Im so pleased with the comfort, style and handling. Absolutely exceptional. I strongly recommend this vehicle to anyone considering purchasing one.

  • no regrets! - 2005 Chrysler 300

we preordered this car, and it was well worth the nearly 5 month wait, even though we were told it would only be 5- 6 weeks. we love this car, it is the most spacious car for front and rear passengers. the trunk is ENORMOUS! people ask us if they can see it all the time. we are very happy with our purchase, and would highly recommend it to everyone, but we dont want to see our car all over the place. ;o) ps- only con is that this is a LARGE car, and safe parking in garage & lots can be challenging.
