Overview & Reviews
The 2005 Chrysler 300 is an all-new, rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan; it replaces the Concorde and 300M. In a clear move away from the cab-forward design theme Chrysler championed in the 1990s, the 300 represents the company's bold new direction and makes use of plenty of Mercedes-Benz technology. Available features include Chrysler's Hemi V8, stability control, side curtain airbags and, later in the year, all-wheel drive.
- Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
- Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, complex stereo controls.

A constant Rush - 2005 Chrysler 300
By stall - January 13 - 7:50 amI got my 05 Chrysler 300C in August of 2004. Nothing but happiness since then except for the Continental tires. No tranny issues, no wind leak, no complaints at all. Ive got 19.5K on it now and my experience mirrors the long term test at Automobile Magazine. Their 7 or 8 months into a full years test and using 12 drivers report no issues. My 300C goes like hell and gives me a rush whenever I take it out. My Wife usually takes it so I end up with here Camry. Its a pretty good car except for loosing head gaskets (2) and requiring no-doz because its as boring as driving a toaster. Regards to all

Excellent Crash survival - 2005 Chrysler 300
By Ontario Glen - January 4 - 4:00 amThis is the first Chrysler that Ive owned and I loved every minute of it... until Aug 31 when I got T-Boned. After that I Love AND Respect it. The car performed exactly as it should. I was hit by a van running a stop sign. A square hit to the rear drivers door and rear tire. The car started to spin until the ESP kicked in and straightened it out, because of that the car went straight into the ditch and didnt slide sideways and roll! The rear seat was contacted by the door panel but no breach into the passenger compartment. No windows broke. This is an example of excellence in design. Thank-you Chrysler

Epiphany - 2005 Chrysler 300
By truebeliever1 - December 26 - 10:00 amI pulled up to Budget Car Rental and saw the 300C perched regally on the lawn. I had booked a regular rental but I asked the girl if I could upgrade to that good looking car out front. When I sat in the car I was blown away by the quality for the money. 10 minutes later I was out of the airport grounds and hitting the gas. This thing flys! I cant describe how much fun the next 24 hours were except to say that I was saddened when I had to turn it in. During that time I had no less than 12 stangers come up and comment on what a bad @#^ car this was and what kind of car was it. I was not in the market for a new car but I am going out this week to buy one.

Just what I expected - 2005 Chrysler 300
By indiajason - December 21 - 10:00 amFirst off I have loved the car since I first saw it. The style is exactly what I want to see from Detroit. I have experienced the pull to the right problem that many others have had with the first models off the lines. But that is now remedied. Let me also state I have driven over 8k miles in the car, all highway and this is a very minor inconvienience and does not impact my love for the car.

Fun to drive again - 2005 Chrysler 300
By Dave - November 25 - 11:06 amFun to drive. More than enough power. AWD is great. Just drove it through blizzard conditions and 13 inches of snow. No problem. All this for 30,000. What a bargain.

AWESOME CAR - 2005 Chrysler 300
By GIGGLES012773 - November 15 - 5:56 amI went from a 2002 Dodge quad cab to this awesome car and I love it. I never thought I could trade my truck in but when I saw the 300c in deep lava red I just had to have one. then I drove it home! The power and the look of this vehicle is unmatched. I get looks no matter where I am at. The interior is also bigger then one would expect. I fit 3 children comfortably in the back. The only thing I do not like about the car is the headrest on the passenger seat, it is to foward. I dont have to worry about it though because if I am in the vehicle I want to be the one driving it!

Baby Bentley - 2005 Chrysler 300
By Mr.DJ - November 8 - 12:53 pmAfter first seeing this Baby Bentley on the road several months ago, I just knew that I would have to get one as well. After a few months of searching via several Chrysler dealerships, I eventually found the specific model and in the color that I wanted...the Touring model in Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl (one of the hardest to locate by the way). Although I had initially wanted a 300C, after the test drive, I decided on the Touring model. I tested the 2.7 liter (basic) 300 model, the 3.5 liter (high output quatrovalve) Touring model, and the 300C with the Hemi. Honestly, I really couldnt justify spending the extra ten grand for the 300C with upgraded amenities that I really didnt need.
