This Year's Model Updates:

The 2005 Chrysler 300 is an all-new, rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan; it replaces the Concorde and 300M. In a clear move away from the cab-forward design theme Chrysler championed in the 1990s, the 300 represents the company's bold new direction and makes use of plenty of Mercedes-Benz technology. Available features include Chrysler's Hemi V8, stability control, side curtain airbags and, later in the year, all-wheel drive.

Pros:
  • Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
Cons:
  • Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, complex stereo controls.

  • Never got so many looks - 2005 Chrysler 300

I straight up feel like the "man" while driving this car. Everyone who sees it is amazed. I was on the freeway yesteraday and a new vet passed me, slammed on his brakes then cruised beside me to look at my ride. The exterior design is absolutley amazing and the interior is like sitting in a futuristic living room. Fuel effecieny sucks in town but @ 65mph it will get up to 30mpg according to the onboard computer. Ive only had her for a week, but so far seems to be the sweetest car I could have bought for 37k, hands down.

The limited is the best you can get without getting a HEMI. It is a fun car to drive.

Accelerator issue not talking with the engine and it dies out. Outside temperature tends to get locked on a previous setting and not pay any attention to what the real temperature is. Speed sensor in my transmission is unable sense speed and does not pass power along to the wheels and feels like a slipping clutch. The only fix right now is to turn the car off and back on it seems to fix it. The part is on back order. One last thing my AM reception is very poor and they will "look" into it when I bring it in for the transmission work.

I just purchased my new 300C...Wow... blows my 2001 530i right out of the water. I get more looks per mile out of this car than any Ive ever owned... the Hemi is awsome but quite and the interior is as good quality wise as any you will find... The only thing I would like to see is the "miles to empty" number without having to put the car in park... Great car... cant say enough good things!

I have been a car freak my entire life, show cars and hot rods have been my passion, I have had my cars featured in hot rod magazine and engines annual, so I know cars. The 300c is the 15th new car I have purchased and is now my favorite. Everything designed into a car has some sort of compromise, you want to go fast? Usually rough idle and poor milage. You want to go thru a corner at high speed? forget a good ride. The 300c has blended all of the things I love in a car in such a way that I cant find any major flaws in it. It is plenty fast, it handles very well, the ride is certainly acceptable as is the fuel consumption. The guages are well thought out and steering wheel controls are great

  • Love it! - 2005 Chrysler 300

I have only had the 300 3.5 V6 a little over a month, but must say I am impressed. I have driven it 2000 miles on all types of roads and love the handling. I am impressed with my mileage because much of my driving is 12 mi. short trips, but ave. over 23mpg. It continues to catch my eye as I see it in my drive way. This car knew my name and I drove by it on the lot for 4 weeks before buying it. Also I am happy with the V6, but then I am not a dynamic driver.

I am a prior Cadillac owner, but I love my 300C more! A very smooth ride, and with the Hemi, tons of power. The interior feels very plush and comfortable. Leather interior and heated seats, love it. A quiet, comfortable ride that takes the stress out of commuting. You can feel the car hug the road on corners. It is definitely a head-turner.
