Best car I have ever owened. The 5.7 hemi is very reliable and powerful. It is a joy to drive. The car looks awsome and I get many compliments on it. With the ESC on you can take corners like they were not even there. The brakes are awesome and the traction control keeps you glued to the road. Thia is a very fast and very safe car. The only other car I would consider buying would be the SRT8 6.1 425 HP

Love it even more now! Trip to New Orleans and back without a worry. Better mileage than expected (21 mpg at 80+). Arrived ready to go farther. This car is awesome -- still point and shoot! Absolutely no regrets. Cruises all day at limit plus, and easily gives more when needed. Great cornering. A thrill and pleasure to push through corners. Turn signal and cruise controls still fall right to hand -- no guessing/fumbling. This car turns heads! Smiles and "thumbs up" often. Still unique enough. Dont see one on every corner, although more lately. Quiet and powerful -- does it get any better? This is the wifes car, now I want a Charger SRT-8!

  • New car purchase - 2006 Chrysler 300

I wanted to write this to give prospective buyers a little insight. I purhased the 300C all wheel drive about a week ago and the purchase transaction worked well. I had done my homework, including all written at edmunds.com and was pretty well prepared. The one note of caution I give is the $3000 extended warranty. In retrospect, I should not have gotten it. It goes into effect after the 3 year 36000 mile new car warranty expires, but it only lasts until 7 years or 70000 miles. That is about $1000 for every 10000 miles over the original warranty. It is unlikely that the car will need $3000 worth of repairs between 36000 and 70000. You might wish to consider this before you buy.

  • Its a Wonderful Car - 2006 Chrysler 300

This is a wonderful car that is exceptionally fun to drive. Its a luxury level sedan that does not disappoint -- comfortable and extremely roomy interior and terrific driving performance. Its a sharp looking car too and I continue to notice people looking at the car when I am driving it. I LOVE THIS CAR!

  • What a machine! - 2006 Chrysler 300

I always liked unique things. The 300C with its break-away styling and powerful engine fills the bill. This is a fun car in every way. I drive 64 miles each day and the 300C is a pleasure to drive. The ride is comfortable and the sound system with with Sirius shortens the trip. As an original member of the rock and roll generation (now in my 60s) I couldnt afford a muscle car back then, but I can now and Im loving it. If all you want is transportation dont buy this car - get an Avalon. My wife has 2005 Avalon and she would rather drive my car, but I wont let her!

  • our 2nd Chrysler product - 2006 Chrysler 300

My wife and I just bought our 300C this month after having nothing but trouble with our 06 Charger. We decided to give Chrysler a 2nd chance simply because we love the style and performance. The car takes us back to another time when American cars ruled the road. We have 600 miles on our linen gold "C" and anticipate many happy miles of driving pleasure. I secretly wish, however, I had waited and bought a inferno red Heritage edition.......We live in the desert and our color choice is perfect , it never appears dusty!! I like the safety factor for my wife and our grandchildren when they are traveling , it gives me peace of mind that they are protected. Its great to have a big car again!!

  • AWD version sits higher - 2006 Chrysler 300
    By -

AWD version which I have sits an inch or so higher than the other variants. I like the height as most SUVs do not block my view as they do in a lower sitting vehicle like a sebring (which I also have). The car is nimble for its size, corners well, and gives a great ride. Apparently, the 300 is blessed with the Mercedes Benz suspension system for a fraction of a Benz price. It also has the Benz designed transmission which is smooth and is able to be shifted manually into higher-lower gears. Nice touch that adds to the secure AWD ride on mountain roads. The exterior is great and everyone knows it. It gets lots of looks. The interior is not as impressive as you might expect, but suitable

  • This Car is WONDERFUL - 2006 Chrysler 300
    By -

I absolutely love my 2006 Chrysler 300. Its big and roomy and not bad at all on gas. It turns heads everywhere I go. This is my 3rd Chrysler product. I had problems with my last Chrysler, 2004 Voyager and had to trade it. After trading my van for the Chrysler 300, I count the problematic Voyager as a blessing in disguise.
