Overview & Reviews
No significant changes for the 2006 Chrysler 300.
- Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
- Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, poor visibility for shorter drivers.

Best Car Ive Owned - 2006 Chrysler 300
By So-Cal Lee - March 17 - 7:30 amI bought a 2005 300-C. The dealer loaded it up with everything plus some of their own add-ons to boost their profit. That bothered me. Everything else is better than I expected. I still have my 300M but this is a totally different experience. This is without a doubt the nicest car Ive owned. Get compliments all the time. Ride is smooth, quiet and I feel the car is firmly on the road at any speed. Have driven in mountains and handling is great. Complaints: Paint quality needs improvement. I have "Orange Peel", rear view mirrow blocks visibility while turning right. Car has tendency to track to right or left with slightest crown in roadway

Cant wait til break-in period is over. - 2006 Chrysler 300
By TXtriathlete - February 21 - 7:40 amJust picked up my new 06 300 SRT8 yesterday. Previously had a 2000 Caddy STS. Took some reading thru the manual to find out all the cool features, which meet or exceed the Caddy. Car has a great combination of power/acceleration, handling, and braking. All in a package that is comfortable, quiet, and reasonably refined. Just close the doors on one and youll immediately sense the Mercedes-Benz spillover. Some interior bits arent as plush or refined as MB or Audis are, but for $20k less (or more), its a tradeoff I was willing to take. I got a big car with plenty of space, gobs of performance, and tons of features.

New SRT 8 - 2006 Chrysler 300
By John - December 16 - 1:13 amI have a SRT 8 with 800 miles on it at this time. So far it is every thing I had hoped it would be. the gas mileage is still a bit suspect, but with 425 horses what can one expect? The handling, ride, and performance are outstanding; so much so I am having second thoughts about taking it to 500 horses! I have yet to really push the car, and it may be awhile as there are precious few places one can really get on it.

Happy on Long Island - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Nancy R - December 15 - 2:13 amI just purchased the 300 Limited. It took me about 6 months to decide between a Cadillac or Chrysler, well as you see I picked the Chrysler and I am loving it. The ride is excellent. The body looks like I paid 50,000 or better. I have also taken it back to be serviced for a sensor and even there I was very pleased on the service. Keep it up Chrysler.

Different from the rest! - 2006 Chrysler 300
By BJ - November 26 - 6:23 pmI have owned this great car for 3 months. At first I had some concern about gas mileage and figured I had bought power and it would cost me. REcent 600 mile trip with AC on and Interstate travel at 65-75 mph averaged 23 mpg which included about 2 hours of city driving. 100% interstate yields about 25 mpg. Fun to drive and it gets the looks and thumbs up!

The best car built in america today. - 2006 Chrysler 300
By bigdad - November 12 - 6:26 pmI have the 2006 black SRT-8 with dark tint and chrome exterior aftermarket parts everywhere, and it looks incredible. I cant drive it without attracting looks and questions. I have installed the jet stage one module and a K&N cold air induction and let me tell you this makes a world of difference. I traded a 2001 trans am WS6 on the SRT and havent regretted it for a second. The SRT is quicker and faster and looks and drives better and I can take my family along for the fun.
