the srt is a wonderful car to drive, when you treat it like a regular the fuel mileage is fine but when you kick in that 425 horse power engine fuel does suffer. wonder fun auto! looks

This car is a blast -- A sports car in disguise that can blow away most sports cars on the road. I bought it with all the options and now have 5,000 miles on it. No problems. 17 mpg average, which is better than I was expecting. Turn off the ESP and spin the wheels! The power, performance, and braking is excellent for a large sedan. The auto stick is fun. Very solid feel at over 150 mph. This car makes the drive to work or play very enjoyable. I call it the Bat-mobile. All it needs is body armor when you lock it, cables, an oil slick, and rockets.

  • Cruise Control - 2006 Chrysler 300

Now have 6,000 miles on my 300C. I love it, just finished a 2100 mile trip with interstste speed limits of 75mph. When you set cruise control at 78 mph it maintains it at all times. All other cars and trucks lose a mph or two on upgrades, the 300C doec not have to shift down to maintain speed on steep upgrades. Seats are very comfortable and no need to make adjustments after hours of driving. This car gets the looks and questions when you are at the gas pumps. Oh yes, average mpg was 24 even for the 2100 mile trip with average speed about 70 overall.

  • Having fun at 50 - 2006 Chrysler 300

I can actually say that driving is fun again! I traded my 04 330ci in on the srt and havnt had a minute of regret. The ride is reasonably comfortable considering the 20" wheels and lowered height. Of course it doesnt handle like the BMW but who cares! I have pushed it a little off the line and had to let up right away as I dont want to buy tires just yet! I cant wait until it is broken in. It is the ultimate sleeper! Why would anyone want to buy foreign again.

I have only had my 300C for 3 months. After driving it for 5,000 miles, i am more impressed with its comfort and handling than I was at first. I find that it isnt just a way to get from point A to Point B - it is an experience akin to flying first class in a widebody jet. I also enjoy the looks that passing motorist give it. the fuel economy isnt a real factor since i appreciate the 4,000 plus pounds of security that it ofers my family, along with the fact that the 5.7 Hemi provided more that enough power to get out trouble. the tranny is super responsive. I dony have near enough room to praise the interior except to say - TOPS! In general, I could be happier with my new 300C.

  • I love my car! - 2006 Chrysler 300

After shopping all makes and models of cars, I drove this car and fell in love with it. It is so comfortable and such a classy looking car.Its also fun to drive, and I like how it hugs the road. I was looking for comfort 1st and mileage 2nd. The comfort of this car is great, milage could be better, but that was my choice. It gets a little less than the invoice showed.

Although it is not the Hemi, I feel that it still has enough power to get you where you need to go and in good timing. It has been one of the better looking vehicle I have ever purchased. I am a Chrysler fan, being that this is the 6th one since 1980. This car is very roomy and the design is one of the best. Handles the road well.
