Overview & Reviews
No significant changes for the 2006 Chrysler 300.
- Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
- Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, poor visibility for shorter drivers.

KoolAidSmile - 2006 Chrysler 300
By rn4nz - March 19 - 10:36 amEar to ear grin every time I climb inside to drive. Jaw dropping looks with blood thirsty power. Traded in our 05 300c for this beast. This car is a true joy. Class and brute strength beautifully combined. Holds 4 sets of golf clubs and 4 passengers with comfort. This car has unmatched performance/value. Unfortunately, 425 hp is addictive, only makes me want even more so we are trading in our 06 Pacifica for a new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, the SUV version on this car. Never thought I would own Chrysler. They have really outdone themselves with this car. Car feels like a tank for safety, Benz for comfort, vette for performance (and fuel economy of course).

Interior build quality - 2006 Chrysler 300
By mbokel - March 13 - 11:43 pmI have found the engine and transmission to be excellent. I have found that the interior items - such as the dash board trim fit and finish to be less than satisfying, the ends of the dash has developed bubbles under the material - not acceptable, dealer says they all will do this due to the way the dash is made. Other than that car is a real head turner and I absolutely love all other aspects of the car.

The American Dream Come True - 2006 Chrysler 300
By coolrunning - February 2 - 3:43 amI love this car! It is Inferno Red Crystal Pearlcoat, and is a 2006 300c Heritage Edition, loaded with every option. It looks like a fabulous luxury car, and it truly is. Dont be fooled. It has that fabulous HEMI under the hood that wakes up the minute you summon it with a light touch of your right foot and transforms itself into a sports car with thoroughbred lineage. It handles like a dream, brakes with little effort and has a throaty growl that only an American V-8 is capable of voicing. This may be the most versatile vehicle I have ever experienced for many reasons. I find myself taking "the long way" and inventing reasons to drive. I love this car so much, I bought 2 identical!

2006 300 Limited - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Matt Stockwell - December 3 - 11:20 pmThis is a great drivers car. The handling is excellent and the 3.5 liter makes plenty of power to move it smartly along. While I dont wale on it like my chipped 98 Neon its just as much fun and 10 times more comfortable. It hauls 5 six footers to lunch in comfort and has become the ride of choice for my co workers. Around town, despite my aggressive use of the throttle it gets 19 mpg or better and 27 on the highway. When ethanol free fuel is available it knocks down 30 mpg. I base these claims not on the readouts but on an old fashioned record book. This 300 Limited is the most value I have ever received in a car purchase.

Awesome! - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Stephen - October 24 - 3:46 pmIf you grew up in the 60s as I did then this is the ultimate driving machine. The SRT8 is truly a new age muscle car. Recent trip from Columbia, SC to Lewisville, IN 1404 mile round trip. The SRT8 was great, handling through the turns couldnt be better, and the power is fantastic. Averaged 20 mpg. Not bad for this much horse power. Purchased a 2005 Chrysler 300C last June the 340 hp was okay, but the SRT8 425 is awesome!
