Overview & Reviews
No significant changes for the 2006 Chrysler 300.
- Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
- Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, poor visibility for shorter drivers.

Different from the rest! - 2006 Chrysler 300
By BJ - November 26 - 6:23 pmI have owned this great car for 3 months. At first I had some concern about gas mileage and figured I had bought power and it would cost me. REcent 600 mile trip with AC on and Interstate travel at 65-75 mph averaged 23 mpg which included about 2 hours of city driving. 100% interstate yields about 25 mpg. Fun to drive and it gets the looks and thumbs up!

The best car built in america today. - 2006 Chrysler 300
By bigdad - November 12 - 6:26 pmI have the 2006 black SRT-8 with dark tint and chrome exterior aftermarket parts everywhere, and it looks incredible. I cant drive it without attracting looks and questions. I have installed the jet stage one module and a K&N cold air induction and let me tell you this makes a world of difference. I traded a 2001 trans am WS6 on the SRT and havent regretted it for a second. The SRT is quicker and faster and looks and drives better and I can take my family along for the fun.

chrysler 300c srt8 - 2006 Chrysler 300
By jim rimer - October 25 - 1:00 pmthis is the fastest and quickest car i have ever owned. gas mileage is at 16mpg in every day driving.it does require premium gas. the tire pressure monitors are a real help in maintaining correct air pressure. i would like oil pressure gauge rather than searching thru the menu for it. but this is a keeper.

Fun with Luxury - 2006 Chrysler 300
By All pro - October 21 - 6:30 amThe car is a dream to drive. Little disappointed that the chrome wheel are alloy with Chrome covers. Interior is very roomy, comfortable and clean. the steering wheel blocks some of the dash in driving position. Rear seating tight for passenger knees. Truck size is good but for the size of the car slightly undersized.

SRT8 Value - 2006 Chrysler 300
By str8-voom - October 16 - 4:30 pmI have owned more expensive European and Japanese models, the SRT8 is the best value for dollar paid in terms of performance and build quality. Must driveit at the SRT Experience Trials.

Step up to the plate and get a 300! - 2006 Chrysler 300
By STEVE - October 16 - 6:40 amJust purchased my new 2006 awd touring...and all i have to say is nothing but "praise" for this car...it handles so well, and is such a smooth ride. It has great power 250 horse for the 3.5 engine. For all the nay-sayers out there, you dont know what your missing!! I am 27 years old and bought this vehicle and i have had people i dont even know approach me out of the blue and have recieved compliments from them!! What are you waiting for?!?!? Step up to the plate and buy this car if youre even considering it!!

Mopar is Back! - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Docboy209 - September 26 - 9:43 pmAfter reading so much about Mopars old muscle, Ive always wanted to own one of their legends. DaimlerChryslers new SRT lineup, especially my new 300, is destined to be legend. I simply cant believe the performance I get with such a big vehicle! Its a night and day difference between the 5.7L and the 6.1L. Hit the gas, and youre goin 100 MPH Before you know it! And the ride is so smooth at those speeds. My wife screamed when she saw the speedo! Mercedes has taught Chrysler a lot about comfort and styling. Overall its just a great car, even though the gas mileage stinks.

Feels like a sports car! - 2006 Chrysler 300
By HelenS - September 24 - 12:30 amWhen I first saw the car in 2004 I wasnt very impressed. This car grows on you. It is elegant, very zippy and fun to drive. Carrying 4 passengers and a driver on a road trip to Miami was very comfortable with lots of room for luggage - trunk is huge! I optioned mine with a moon roof, luxury interior, Nav system, and protection package. I get lots of complements on it. Only complaint is that the Nav System is about 2 years out of date in some cases and I havent been too successful in getting info on the updates.

300 C - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Rocco - August 16 - 11:00 pmA few things could have been better, But then again, every car has some flaws. I found it vey difficiult to adjust the rear view mirror. I cant grip it good to move it. Bling spots all over. And limited view through the front window, cant see traffic light good, i find myself looking at the walk way lights to determine if the light changed green. But over all , i love it.!!!!!
