Overview & Reviews
The 2005 Chrysler 300 is an all-new, rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan; it replaces the Concorde and 300M. In a clear move away from the cab-forward design theme Chrysler championed in the 1990s, the 300 represents the company's bold new direction and makes use of plenty of Mercedes-Benz technology. Available features include Chrysler's Hemi V8, stability control, side curtain airbags and, later in the year, all-wheel drive.
- Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
- Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, complex stereo controls.

Spend too much time talking about it - 2005 Chrysler 300
By diverbill - March 24 - 10:00 amI have never spent more time talking about a car or exchanging thumbs up signs with pedestrians and other drivers. I love this car. The interior is unbelievably comfortable. The controls work great - I like the manual control over the 2 zone heat/Ac system over the fully automatic control. The sound system is spectacular. I listen to everything from Diana Krall to the Rolling Stones and all sound great. I have never had a car with the controlled ride and pick-up of this car. If you need to change lanes you can do so with no fear. It is a real head turner and drives like a dream

Best $25,000 I have ever spent - 2005 Chrysler 300
By I am in LOVE - March 20 - 10:23 amI upgraded from a 97 Accord so exterior design are amazing to me. I love the power (even without the Hemi). Drive is wonderful. Worried about RWD as I live in Colorado, but most the reviews have been reassuring. Have not had a visibility problem as others have noted. No mechanical or electrical problms yet.

Go In the Snow? - 2005 Chrysler 300
By Chuck - March 19 - 3:56 pmI have had my 300 for about 2 years and just found out the go in the snow - does not. Whenever this vehicle senses ice or snow, the vehicle stalls to neutral, then when you try to go again, it does the same thing all over. So, the only thing you can do is chain up with as little as 1" of snow on the ground. Not to good in the Pacific Northwest in the winter. I thought this was a defect, but talking with other owners, they have had the same experience.
