Overview & Reviews
No significant changes for the 2006 Chrysler 300.
- Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
- Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, poor visibility for shorter drivers.

Great 300C - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Ed - July 7 - 7:32 pmTwo years have gone by with the 300C and I still think that this is a great car. This is a real car. The power is great, the mileage good for a 340 horsepower V8, thanks to the MDS. The seats are comfortable for a long drive. The car still gets looks from others.

Luxury and Performance! - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Gary - July 1 - 4:20 amThe 300C AWD is an awesome luxury and performance car, capable of handling any kind of weather condition you throw at it. Highway driving is amazing with extreme comfort, quietness and power. At first this car gets some getting used to due to its size and visibility. After living with it for a couple of months, you get the feel of it and its really a pleasure to drive. The car is so solid and is very well put together. Mine is fully loaded, and the options and features are impressive. The EVIC allows customer preferred settings for almost anything and is intuitive to use. The NAV system is a bit of a toy, but certainly useful and entertaining. For the money, its a great car.

The Best Car Ive Ever Owned - 2006 Chrysler 300
By CoolRunning - June 13 - 6:08 amStyle, quality, performance, comfort, value and fun all wrapped into one package. I love this car! I bought a fully loaded Heritage Edition with every option on the list. It is universally the best car I have ever driven, and it was so nice, I bought it twice. I have two identical Inferno Red Heritage Editions (his & hers). I want to keep them forever.

This car is not reliable - 2006 Chrysler 300
By SHERIL EVANS - June 12 - 7:59 pmI thought that I was making a great investment when I purchased my brand new 2006 Chrysler C car. This turned out to be a nightmare. This car has been in the shop numerous times for transmission problems that the dealership cant seem to repair. Dont be deceived by looks. This is the worst car that I have ever purchased. It is not reliable at all and I think that the towing companies know me on a first name basis.

Outstanding - 2006 Chrysler 300
By IronMedic - June 8 - 10:57 amI have owned so many cars but not like this one. This is truly an amazing car. I felt it was impossible to own a v8 and get 4 cyl gas mileage but this car proved it otherwise. I drove 150 hwy miles on a quarter tank at about 70mph. Interior is very refined and very comfortable. Road noise is very low. This is my favorite car. I cant wait to work on it!

Love the C - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Ed - May 16 - 7:35 amThe 300C is big, very comfortable, fast, and the styling is like nothing else seen on the highways. Both the wife and I feel very safe driving this car. The metal part of the door is high, giving one a sense of being "in not on" the car. The 5.7 liter V8 is powerful, quiet, and a Hemi. The multi-displacement system that shuts off 4 cylinders and switches to 8 when more power is needed works imperceptibly. Highway mileage is good for such a big car. We get 23-25 MPG on highway. However, only about 15 mpg in town, but I am not one to keep from enjoying the acceleration that the Hemi affords. One trip to the dealer was needed due a leaking transmission sensor.

Looks awesome, in shop often - 2006 Chrysler 300
By gregory tortorello - April 23 - 1:01 pmThis is best looking car I`ve ever owned. I was blown away by the stylings of the 300. Unfortunately it has been in the shop over a dozen times with one problem alone clocking 6 visits without the problem being rectified. Needless to say, I`ve given up on this model and probably all Chrysler products as well.

What a great car - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Cool Running - April 23 - 6:44 amI would never have dreamed that the 300C would be such a universally great car. It fits my lifestyle perfectly and gives me the comfort of a luxury car, the performance of a sports car, the style of a hip full-size cruiser, the safety of a well-built tank and the fuel economy of a car half its size. I love the quiet ride as much as I love the throaty sound of those dual pipes singing that Hemi tune.
