This Year's Model Updates:

The 2005 Chrysler 300 is an all-new, rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan; it replaces the Concorde and 300M. In a clear move away from the cab-forward design theme Chrysler championed in the 1990s, the 300 represents the company's bold new direction and makes use of plenty of Mercedes-Benz technology. Available features include Chrysler's Hemi V8, stability control, side curtain airbags and, later in the year, all-wheel drive.

Pros:
  • Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
Cons:
  • Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, complex stereo controls.

I waited four months to get a 300C and it was worth the wait! This is the first American car that impressed me enough to buy new in many years. Performance, comfort, ride and features are phenomenal. Value for the Buck: Worth every penny.

  • The best ever, so far - 2005 Chrysler 300

I hade a numbers of cars in my life span but never have I had a car that have been that reliable and comfortable as my 300 Touring. I love the design and my fuel economy have improved by adding a cold air intake to the engine. Fast, lots of torque, enough horsepower to maintaine the speed on the freeway at any time I drive. I had the car for a year and i bought it used with 10000 miles on it, now after 30000 miles it is going strong with not what so ever problems. If I would consider to exhange my vehicle I would probably buy a new SRT 8 this time with no considerations at all.

This car carries on the torch for the original 300 Letter Series with grace and power. I had a 1956 300B with 340 HP and this car definitely exhibits 50 yrs of improvements to the 300 Series line of cars!

  • What a Car !!! - 2005 Chrysler 300

During the LONG wait for mine to arrive, I checked all the competitors - none came close, regardless of sticker price. The technology is great. Doesnt corner quite as good as my Mini Cooper S, but its amazingly close !!! With 3K miles, its running 25.5 mpg on the highway (18-19 in town). Mine is "Deep Lava Red Pearl Coat" - if you havent seen a red one, you need to - its gorgeous. Driving the car is the best part. I got caught in a heavy rain storm on the interstate, doing 70 mph - the wind and rain didnt even phase it... I love this car !!!!

  • 200c awd a reak DREAM - 2005 Chrysler 300

Car came with added features, i.e, padded roof, custom grill and added "wood" touches to the interior. Car drives close to a dream, it is almost too fast from teh red light! Only problem was the carpet was cut too short. Dealer replaced the carpet with no problem ... WOW! Just get used to being looked at when you drive. With 500 miles on the car I am still in love with this vehicle. Yes, I am very critical

  • Best Value on he Market! - 2005 Chrysler 300

This is a big mans car. Plenty of head, shoulder and seat room. Gets looks on the road. Fun to drive. Passing power equals or beats the Caddy Northstar and more affordable. Perfect marriage of Daimler and Chrysler. Cruise could be more user friendly - like on the steering wheel. And I wish the read-out could be seen while driving. Traded my STS without reservation.

  • Greatest Vehicle Ever Driven - 2005 Chrysler 300

I have driven over 500,000 miles in the past 40 years either professionally or for travel and pleasure. That involves many types and makes of vehicles both domestic and foreign and includes luxury cars in both categories. With this experience as a basis I can say that this vehicle is one of the finest examples of automotive engineering I have ever driven! And based on the cost factor versus the finished product it could very well be the finest vehicle ever manufactured. Needless to say we are extremely pleased with this motor car. We have experienced the same responses from those that see it as some of the other reviews. People love it!

  • Best car I have ever owned - 2005 Chrysler 300

This is the best car I have ever owned! I thought my BMW 330i was fast, fun and sporty to drive, but I think my Chrysler 300c outdoes it! the car is definetly an eye catcher! It was hard to find a fully loaded one on a lot that wasnt pre sold but it was well worth the wait and the calling around trying to find it!
