Overview & Reviews
No significant changes for the 2006 Chrysler 300.
- Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
- Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, poor visibility for shorter drivers.

Does it All - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Norm Couturier - August 24 - 7:36 am425hp - lots of mid-range torque, tight-shifting 5-speed auto-stick transmission, posi-trac RWD, 1st-class exterior styling (mine is all black), best brakes Ive ever felt (Brembo), smooth and quiet at speed, yet surprising nimble and accurate for a 4,000-lb car. Reasonably sticky 20" Goodyear F1 Supercar radials do a nice job (but wont last very long). Chrysler did a fabulous job of cramming classy styling, a great chassis and good old-fashioned musclecar power (without the bad side effects) into a reasonably priced sedan (considering what youre getting).

Great American Cars - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Warj - August 9 - 3:40 amCar has great acceleration. Suspension is a little stiff, but rides OK. Doors make easy egress. Great style. Rear quarter panels seem a little flimsy. May want stiffen up on next version.

300C - Wow! - 2006 Chrysler 300
By David - August 4 - 11:06 amI test cars for a living - and this machine is terrific. Its ride is every bit as good as a Lexus and if you decide to push the pedal, youd better have the head restraint adjusted up! The transmission is seamless, the interior controls are easy to use under any condition (I think they could have done a better job with the crusie control). Seats adjust great and a very comfortable on long drives. AND - its definitely a head turner.

A Mercedes in Chrysler Clothing - 2006 Chrysler 300
By CoolRunning - July 29 - 8:20 amAfter driving a 500/600/700 series Mercedes, I had to try out the new Chrysler 300C. It is the best kept secret in the industry! Why spend 80K on a Mercedes when you spend about 35K on a fully loaded Chrysler that has a Mercedes transmission, chassis and suspension and one of the best engines in the world, the 5.7 Hemi MDS V-8?

Love 300C - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Randy Brown - July 26 - 2:49 pmThe car has been absolutely flawless. Awesome power and very fun to drive. I have installed Chrysler cold air kit on Hemi and I am putting a cat-back exhaust system on it. On trips car always gets 24.5 mpg even at 75 to 80 mph. Chrysler did good, no, great

Great 300C - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Ed - July 7 - 7:32 pmTwo years have gone by with the 300C and I still think that this is a great car. This is a real car. The power is great, the mileage good for a 340 horsepower V8, thanks to the MDS. The seats are comfortable for a long drive. The car still gets looks from others.

Luxury and Performance! - 2006 Chrysler 300
By Gary - July 1 - 4:20 amThe 300C AWD is an awesome luxury and performance car, capable of handling any kind of weather condition you throw at it. Highway driving is amazing with extreme comfort, quietness and power. At first this car gets some getting used to due to its size and visibility. After living with it for a couple of months, you get the feel of it and its really a pleasure to drive. The car is so solid and is very well put together. Mine is fully loaded, and the options and features are impressive. The EVIC allows customer preferred settings for almost anything and is intuitive to use. The NAV system is a bit of a toy, but certainly useful and entertaining. For the money, its a great car.

The Best Car Ive Ever Owned - 2006 Chrysler 300
By CoolRunning - June 13 - 6:08 amStyle, quality, performance, comfort, value and fun all wrapped into one package. I love this car! I bought a fully loaded Heritage Edition with every option on the list. It is universally the best car I have ever driven, and it was so nice, I bought it twice. I have two identical Inferno Red Heritage Editions (his & hers). I want to keep them forever.
