This Year's Model Updates:

The 2005 Chrysler 300 is an all-new, rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan; it replaces the Concorde and 300M. In a clear move away from the cab-forward design theme Chrysler championed in the 1990s, the 300 represents the company's bold new direction and makes use of plenty of Mercedes-Benz technology. Available features include Chrysler's Hemi V8, stability control, side curtain airbags and, later in the year, all-wheel drive.

Pros:
  • Chiseled and masculine good looks, powerful V8 in 300C model, long list of safety features, plenty of luxury and performance for the price paid.
Cons:
  • Sluggish acceleration with base V6, limited transmission choices, complex stereo controls.

This car puts the fun into driving again... Its design sets it apart from anything on the road or parking lot.. Numerous compliments from Cadillac and BMW friends..Good package at a REASONABLE price in the signature series....

  • 300C exterior is prefect but interior... - 2005 Chrysler 300

I love the 300C from the first day I set my eyes on it. Ive had no problems with the car thus far. The exterior is amazing with a retro chop top look. And one of the few cars that can hold 22 inch wheels. The interior on the other hand could be much better. Hopefully the feature models will get a interior upgrade with less plastics.

Outstanding car. No complaints, just wishes for MORE! More engine noise, more off-the-line jolt, and more cool stuff integrated into the console (dont skip an electronic feature - theyre all cool!) No way I could handle more attention, though - this is not a car for the shy type!

  • Whats with the ride height? - 2005 Chrysler 300

Well built car, solid, quiet, smooth ride; however the RWD does have a better ride. Great interior, with all the right features, and excellent ergonomics. Still have not understood the reason behind the exaggrated ride height, its not necessary, as Audi, Mercedes, and BMW do not increase the static height of the car to add AWD. Also, the loss of chrome wheels on a more expensive version of the Hemi C. Even with the proverbial egg on the gas pedal, the mileage is extremely low (14.8 combined); hoping for improvement as the engine continues to break in.

I have owned my car for four years, it has given me dependable pleasure, comfort-style-and the dealership has been great to keep my car in top condition. I have no problems in the winter, my car always starts under the coldest of conditions, in snow if you go slow as conditions require you will be able to drive on most surfaces and hills. I have had the following parts replaced under warranty since purchase: Motors for front seat and car door windows. Extra battery in trunk replaced. Most recent part replaced, is a compressor went completely out, the dealership covered the cost leaving me with labor only. I have low miles considering I am the only driver of my car.

The Chrysler 300C and its sister, the Dodge Magnum, are the best products to come out of Detroit in nearly 30 years.

  • One Great Car!! - 2005 Chrysler 300

This my 24 car in 22 yrs and this HEMI 300C is the greatest automobile I have ever owned or driven. I am basically a Chyrsler person, Had a 300M, loved it but nothing can compare with this one. I would put this automible up against any on the market, bar none! Quiet, FAST, and really draws attention. What I like also is my wife (after 48 yrs) loves this car. Never cared much for the others one way or another. I urge you to test drive one, but warned if you drive it you WILL BUT IT.

  • WOW! What a Car - 2005 Chrysler 300

I only have about 500 miles on this 300C, but I am really impressed with everything about it. The Hemi engine performs great and seems to get 18 m/g around town and 26.5 m/g on the highway, which is similar to my previous V6 in a 300M. The handling is outstanding. There surely is a big difference driving a rear wheel drive vehicle.

  • Chrysler 300 - you cant go wrong - 2005 Chrysler 300

When asked about our 300 we always tell people " you would have to pry it from our dead hands"... From styling to handling this car is top notch. The v- 6 performs better than most v-6s. The style basically is no different than the v-8. Cheers to all other chrysler 300 owners!!!
