Underappeciated... - 1998 Chevrolet Tracker
By cxvargas - December 6 - 2:00 amby consumers and press. I bought mine new and had the car shipped to the UK in 98. While stationed over there, I truly enjoyed the Tracker qualities. With gas prices at $5 per gallon I never worried about gas bills. Also, it was so easy to park at the local shopping malls or drive in the city. I had the car shipped to several places and is still performing flawlessly. Main concern is with GM dealership service/customer experience. I just bought a new Accord instead of a GM product because such poor experience. Regardless of GM I would recommed this car just because of the excellent built and troble free experience.

Big guy in little Tracker - 2004 Chevrolet Tracker
By edinjerzey - December 3 - 2:00 amI purchased my 2001 "new" tracker back in feb of 02. I use this vehicle traveling to and from work only. The engine (V6) has a great punch off the line along with a good passing gear as well with plenty of pedal left. The tracker handles curves and cornering well too. I drive mostly city traffic and get decent gas milage, the 4wd is great and makes driving a peice of cake even in over a foot of snow. I have no regrets with my Tracker, its perfect for what I use and need it for. Go ahead test drive one. Zoom around for yourself. Ed

Nice Ride - 2003 Chevrolet Tracker
By Fisherfishouse - November 29 - 2:00 amI recently purchased a 2001 ZR2 Tracker back in the spring. It had 28000 miles on it. Im passing the 45000 mile mark. So far Ive had no problems with it. I was very leary of it beings I was the 2nd owner of it. I have no idea what the first one did to it, But it seems to be very solid to this date. At this time I would purchase another one.

Sometimes you get more than you pay for - 1999 Chevrolet Tracker
By RCWest - October 3 - 2:00 amIm really impressed with the Tracker. You just cant beat a 4x4 with good fuel economy and a low sticker price. Aside from my dealer fouling up a simple mechanical job, it has been a great vehicle mechanically. It is very fun to drive and you can park anywhere in this little thing. I havent taken it on any serious off-roading adventures, but I couldnt resist racing off into our pasture occasionally. It seems to be just as at home in the dirt as the pavement. Overall, it really is a great little vehicle.
