My First Tracker - 2001 Chevrolet Tracker
By cgtrumpet - May 24 - 9:10 amMy 2001 Chevy Tracker is my very first car. It is reliable and comfortable. It gets great gas mileage and is very efficient. I love driving to school and practice in it since it is just so comfortable. I plan on keeping my Tracker until I graduate from high school, which is in about two years. It is a great car for young, inexperienced drivers.

Barbie car - 2001 Chevrolet Tracker
By Dave Bransky - May 5 - 1:37 pmI purchased this Tracker to be a second hand vehicle, but with the price of gas the Tracker is becoming my main driver. The only problem I have had with this vehicle is that it is on its third heater core, and if it wasnt for the fact that I have bypassed the core, I would probably be on my tenth. Dealer has no reason for this problem, but has paid for all the heater cores that have been installed.

Proud Of Her - 2002 Chevrolet Tracker
By Proud Owner - May 4 - 1:50 pmI just love my little Tracker. She is fun to drive and has more room inside than I expected, especially when you sit the back seats up straight. The only thing I would have changed would be to have her pull more weight.

Problems - 2003 Chevrolet Tracker
By Bad Chevy - March 27 - 2:20 pmWhen I bought this Tracker, I was looking for reliability. I am not happy! I have now gone through 3 Cat. Conv., springs on the rear rotors. I am still having problems with them and gaskets galore. I have a 1994 Tracker a long time ago and it was awesome. I cant wait to get rid of this one!

Reliable - 2002 Chevrolet Tracker
By Chris Jones - February 23 - 1:43 pmI drive my car harder and farther than most people yet, I have had this car for 4 years and have never had a problem. Handles OK in snow w/ 4WD, would be better w/ a heavier back end.

Good Value - 2003 Chevrolet Tracker
By Charles Howell - February 4 - 1:15 pmI have absolutely no complaints thus far. A very economical car with a noticeably choppy ride at times. But, no problems.

Excellent as winter Station Wagon - 2000 Chevrolet Tracker
By Mainer - November 28 - 6:06 pmNo problems with vehicle as such. I just wish that the back door opened up or split up and down. It is sometimes difficult to get enough room in a parking lot to open the door. The automatic transmission works excellent and the cargo size is adequate practically with the back seat down.

Needs Updating - 2001 Chevrolet Tracker
By Jay - November 19 - 6:39 amLive in Upstate NY. Travel a lot for work. Vehicle handles great, good power, parks easy in the city, rides comfortable on long trips. Engine and transmission are flawless. Awesome offroad and towing. Heres the problem...I have had to replace numerous accessory items at high parts prices. Recent parts only expenses: Lower steering arm $400, AC compressor $520, Radiator hoses $38 each, calipers $530 per set. This all happened between 46k and 52k miles. Im not getting scammed by repair men, I am a DIY type guy, and these items DID fail. For its size it could get better mileage, 18-20 with minimal passengers or cargo. Id like to keep it but am afraid of what will break next and at what cost.
