This tracker has been a great car! Its the 4wheel drive, 4 door and we generally drive it over our Mercedes E class. Mileage is around 25mpg on the road, very responsive handling, reliable car. We love it!

I purchased this vehicle new and have zero problems over the last 2 1/2 years! What really impresses me about the Tracker is its versatility. It is home in the urban environment as well as off-road.

  • Tracker, the little SUV that couldnt - 2002 Chevrolet Tracker

This is the absolute worst ownership experience Ive had with a vehicle. Its under-powered. Completely worthless when it comes to value. I had it appraised and the thing lost so much of its value, that I cant even trade it in. I owe 8 thousand dollars more than then car is worth. Thumbs down to the Suzuki.... ummm Chevrolet Tracker.

Well, since I have bought my new Tracker i have had nothing but problems. I had 3 oil leaks with in 1 year on owning the car, gas pump went out, brake light went out, suspension bolt was loose, and a coolant leak. I never imagined I would have this much trouble with a new car. I havent had the car 2 years yet. The dealer ship has offered to buy the car back from me and give refund me for all of my payments ( with the help of the BBB).

Its a very nice car, not to big but not to small to the point I have to fold myself up to get in, and she didnt want anything big. It drives very nice, and smooth, we have taken 3 trips so far , and it has been great. The biggest problem I see is that it doesnt like a crosswind much, but I put bigger wheels on it, and that did the trick. I also did a few small things with the motor to wake up some horses, its real nice now. To me its a pretty good family car, I dont think anyone would go wrong with a small family.

I just bought one today and Man! I love it! Its amazing how much head room and rear room is in that little thing. Great stereo sound and wonderful panoramic view of the road. Overall, Great first SUV for young hip drivers! (like myself!)

Park it anywhere and not worry about anyone being too interested in it. Does what I want it to do. Didnt cost that much for a new car and goes where I want it to (including 18 inches of snow) and can pop the top in Summer. Wanted a car which will sell easily later on (teens like it). Never had a problem other than a bad differential fluid being put in it. Not much room in the back, but its not for traveling around the country. Here and there, thats all.

  • Very Good Value For The Money - 2002 Chevrolet Tracker

At $14,000,the Tracker is a very good value. Good handling, adequate power, good gas mileage (22 to 28 mpg), and nicely equipped even with no factory options. However, that the Tracker is no CR-V or RAV4. Its ride is considerably busier, the quality of the materials is inferior and the rear seat is tight. Buyers who are considering more upscale Trackers (LT or ZR2) should be aware that the fancier Trackers, even with the big-time rebates, are approaching CR-V prices and I can attest that my CR-V outclasses my Tracker in many respects. People who want an inexpensive 4X4 will probably be pleased with a base Tracker.

This car is a huge value...I would recommend it to anyone looking for a small 4WD SUV

  • BIG MISTAKE - 2000 Chevrolet Tracker
    By -

This vehicle was a BIG mistake. I never should have purchased it! The salesman at Ocean City Chevrolet in Shallotte, NC. Was a LIAR! This vehicle is worthless in its resale & trade-in value. My suggestion would be to anyone looking to buy a Chev. Tracker, BY A FORD!
