  • Absolutely FUN to drive! - 2000 Chevrolet Prizm
    By -

I absolutely LOVE my Chevy Prizm. It is so much fun to drive and manuer in and out of traffic. Its also very reliable. Ive had my car for two years and it has given me NO problems at all. And though it is not the most stylish car on the road, it is more economical than its identical sister, the Toyota Corrolla. In fact, I almost laugh whenever I see someone in a Corrolla because I bet they paid about $2,000 more for their car than I did for mine, yet the cars are IDENTICAL. I would defintely buy this car again.

For over 4 yrs, this car has been absolutely reliable--good mileage 34mpg with automatic transmission, no leaks, no rattles, relatively quiet on the freeway especially after I switched tires. Do regular maintenance and thats it. For me, Im 58", the car is very comfortable.

  • best small car - 2002 Chevrolet Prizm

I am 78 and for all around car, this is probrably best car I have ever had. I like to drive it. It is peppy and gets great gas milage. what a savings on gas if everyone owned one. It is the quietest car I have ever had.

  • Great little car - 2001 Chevrolet Prizm

I just recently bought my prizm from a dealership after spending months looking at corollas. i couldnt believe the fact that they are the exact same car. the only thing i wish it had was a center armrest console. but it drives great, gets great gas mileage and was priced to sell so im more than happy!

  • Dont buy one of these - 1998 Chevrolet Prizm

Ths car was good the first two years then started to have alot of problems. Paint faded and chipped off, A/C went out, and transmission went out. If youre looking for a "throw-away" car this is it.

  • Peppy, gas sipper, too small for a 6 er - 2001 Chevrolet Prizm
    By -

This is a little too small for my 6 foot frame, but the fuel economeny is amazing. I am driving this car as a loaner as my 2000 Dodge Neon is in the shop (again and again). When I got this car the fuel light was on so I put in $3 of gas. (What I would burn in the Neon in 2 days). It filled the car to over 1/4 tank and its still at 1/4 after a full day.

  • Its a Shame to See It Go! - 2002 Chevrolet Prizm

"Reliability" is the key word when discussing a Prizm. I now have owned five of them, plus a Corolla and a Chevy Nova (87). In all these cars the only mechanical problem I ever had was a clutch slave cyliner ($40.00) in the Nova. That is amazing. GMs decision to stop making the Prizm will send me to Toyota for a Corolla. However, my most recent 2002 Prizms (Yes I bought two of them this weekend before the rebates ended) enabled me to save over $4,000 per car compared to the Corolla.

  • 1999 - Chevy Prizm - 2002 Chevrolet Prizm

I got the prizm bran new from the dealer and since then it has not fail me, I have about 120,000 miles on it and it still runs like new. I like it because it does what it needs to do, take me to work and back. Fuel economy is good. It came loaded with CD player, sunroof, power everything, driver, passenger and side airbags. Yes, there is little run on the back, but I am the only one who drives, so who cares. I dont care what people think of the prizm, I like it and its going to be hard to get rid of this car.

  • Oregon Prizm - 2002 Chevrolet Prizm

A solid, basic car that is both comfortable and fun to drive. Bigger inside than it first appears. Fuel economy is as good as claimed - never less than 32 mpg in town (with a 5- speed) and 36-38 mpg on the road.

  • 75,000 Miles and no problems. - 1998 Chevrolet Prizm
    By -

My husband and I bought this car b/c his uncle worked at NUMI where they are made and got us a great deal. We couldnt be happier. We havent had a single problem with it. Nothing has broken on the inside and the engine is still running beautifully. Aside from your regularly scheduled maintenance/oil changes/tire rotation... we havent had to put any extra $$ into the car at all. Its very reliable and you definitely get more than you paid for. Its not a luxury car, but its great for commuting and people who drive a lot of miles.
