Great car. Could be a little larger inside, but Im 63 and I still do fit OK. Very smooth, no rattles, no noise, very solid feel. Everything feels mechanically perfect. Everything does what its supposed to in the manner its supposed to do it. Its a shame Cheverolet will not continue to sell these.

You cannot go wrong if you want a station to station car. It is a vanilla type car compared to a fancy flavor. There is no excitement in this car but it will get you there and back.

The car is adequate. It doesnt have a lot of kick when you accelerate...a lot of cabin noise. The gas mileage is great!

I have about 21,000 miles on this vehicle and it still drives like it was brand new. Have had absolutely no problems not so much as a hick-up. Only wish that I had purchased a 4 speed automatic instead of 3 speed. Overall, I am very satisfied.

  • My Prizm rides well! - 1999 Chevrolet Prizm

I bought this car in March of 2000, and love the style, the way it handles, and the gas mileage is great! However, it could be more comfortable, the seats are not at all comfortable, and there could be more leg room in the back seat, and it could take dings a little better too. Overall, its a great car!

  • GM bumper to bumper is a joke - 2002 Chevrolet Prizm

I have a five day old Prism. The battery has a clear eye (low acid level) GM refuses to replace this battery unless I have a cranking problem. Delco battery is shocked that the battery is not being replaced. Delcos battery imfo from the internet states that a clear or yellow battery eye do not recharge, replace battery. This is GMs idea of bumper to bumper coverage, what a disgrace. Bill Heard Chevrolet is going to change this battery because they want to do the right thing. My local dealer refused to change the battery, because GM would not pay them. Buyer beware of GM and their coverage.

  • Comfortability - 2000 Chevrolet Prizm

Needs more comfortable seats and locking glove compartment.

  • A good starter - 2002 Chevrolet Prizm

A good buy if youre trying to get on your feet. It isnt a Vette, but it gets your from A to B with reliability, comfort, and excellent fuel economy. Just be sure to take it back to the dealer for those odd squeaks and creaks while its still under warranty they get annoying quickly.

  • great little car - 2000 Chevrolet Prizm

this car is a steal... super-reliable, economical, and zippy with the stick... too bad it has a big Chevy bowtie on the front

  • Good/reliable car for the money - 1999 Chevrolet Prizm
    By -

I leased this car in 1999 and now wished I had bought it. Pros... great mileage and reliability. I have had zero problems with this car. Cons...not all that comfortable but roomy enough for an averaged size male. I chose the manual transmission because it had a little more zip. Shifting is smooth and forgiving even for beginners. If youre looking for an economical, reliable small car...dont look any further.
