Better than expected - 2000 Chevrolet Prizm
By GJB - December 4 - 2:00 amI bought this Chevy using GM MC credits and rebate. $12K out the door. Car is very quiet and comfortable for class. Engine is surprisingly peppy. I got new tires (performance) and the handling improved markedly (still leans in turns, but tracks well). Fuel economy in my work commute is ~34mgp! Fun and quiet car.

The best of both worlds - 2000 Chevrolet Prizm
By Quickshift - December 2 - 2:00 amI just bought my Prizm this weekend. The car is a blast to drive. I bought it used w/ 20k mi. Even though it is equipped with an automatic transmission, it quickly picks up to the speed limit. I have to keep my eye on the speedometer from speeding. It has the new 16 valve DOHC vvti engine from Toyota. The gas mileage is very similar to my former car, the Accent. The ride is smooth til you hit some rough roads.

Wonderfully dependable - 1998 Chevrolet Prizm
By choalb - November 21 - 2:00 amFor over 4 yrs, this car has been absolutely reliable--good mileage 34mpg with automatic transmission, no leaks, no rattles, relatively quiet on the freeway especially after I switched tires. Do regular maintenance and thats it. For me, Im 58", the car is very comfortable.

Oregon Prizm - 2002 Chevrolet Prizm
By Eric Mellgren - September 24 - 2:00 amA solid, basic car that is both comfortable and fun to drive. Bigger inside than it first appears. Fuel economy is as good as claimed - never less than 32 mpg in town (with a 5- speed) and 36-38 mpg on the road.

75,000 Miles and no problems. - 1998 Chevrolet Prizm
By fridaynight - September 23 - 2:00 amMy husband and I bought this car b/c his uncle worked at NUMI where they are made and got us a great deal. We couldnt be happier. We havent had a single problem with it. Nothing has broken on the inside and the engine is still running beautifully. Aside from your regularly scheduled maintenance/oil changes/tire rotation... we havent had to put any extra $$ into the car at all. Its very reliable and you definitely get more than you paid for. Its not a luxury car, but its great for commuting and people who drive a lot of miles.

Boring and Dependable - 1999 Chevrolet Prizm
By rozellium - September 17 - 2:00 amWe needed a cheap car with low monthly payments that we could count on. The Prizm hasnt let us down a bit. With almost 60, 000 miles, weve had absolutely no problems other than routine maintenance like brakes. However, this no luxury vehicle. It pretty cramped, makes lots of noise especially on the highway, and doesnt have the most comfortable ride. Nothing to get excited about, but then again if your looking at a Corolla/Prizm you probably not the exciting type.

Great Car - 2000 Chevrolet Prizm
By Good Car - August 8 - 2:00 amI have had my car for almost 2 years now. NO problems at all. EXCELLENT gas mileage. Not the best car for someone with kids. Too small.

55,000 miles and still going strong. - 1998 Chevrolet Prizm
By JimNC - August 4 - 2:00 amI now have owned my 1998 Prizm since new and am very satified. It has never been to the dealer for a repair. Only gas, oil changes, and tires have been required. My only real compliant is the lack of legroom. Even with the seat all the way back I need another inch or so and Im only 511". The ride is quiet and smooth for this size car - handling is a not very crisp. Average 30-31 MPG with 4-sp automatic. Not very exciting, but excellent basic transportation.

2000 Prizm - 2000 Chevrolet Prizm
By Prizm Owner - July 27 - 2:00 amI purchased my Prizm used two weeks ago. I demand a lot from my vehicles and this car has delivered. You get a Corolla engine, heck the whole Corolla, for less money. I just down sized from a 4Runner and I am not dissapointed.
