Unbelievably good for the price!! - 2000 Chevrolet Metro
By victor555 - July 18 - 2:00 amIm truly impressed!! I bought it about 11/2 years back with 36K miles for $3500. I now have 52K miles, and the car has been ABSOLUTELY trouble free!! I get about 35 to 36 mpg in PURE city driving (and Los Angeles traffic is as bad as it gets) and it has given as high as 47mpg on pure highway stretches at 65mph with the A/C on!! I was incredibly surprised at how comfortable it was inside (at 510" Im not very tall), but nevertheless it truly exceeded my expectations!! The clutch is among the best in the business, and the gear shifting is butter smooth. This is an UNBELIEVABLE VALUE FOR THE MONEY!!

MY METRO - 2000 Chevrolet Metro
By Tashauna - July 9 - 2:00 amMy car was bought because we were expecting a baby. It was cheep and I liked the way it looked. It isnt too big, but it isnt too small. I am short and have trouble fitting into bigger cars, I fit perfect in this car. And I usually dont have trouble parking.

great little car - 2000 Chevrolet Metro
By dwcummin - May 16 - 2:00 am2nd Metro Ive owned and reliability was reason for purchasing again. I had 187000 on first Metro and was on original engine, clutch, and transmission. This one does not get the mileage the first one got and not as peppy either. It is more comfortable and has a/c.

Great car for little out of pocket - 2000 Chevrolet Metro
By Cronin - May 5 - 2:00 amI am a student, so this car is awsome for me. Less insurance and less gas to keep me going. Only thing I had to redo to the car is new alternator. But thats because I added subwoofers.

Happy Driver/Twice Metro Owner - 2000 Chevrolet Metro
By soybock - February 24 - 2:00 am1st metro was a 97 w/ 49k. Drove it to 100k, NEVER a problem, not one! A lady smashed into the side of me at full speed, outside driver side door was completely mangled and buckled in, but the inside looked like nothing had happened (great car construction). I was amazed, walked away without a scratch. Car even still ran! Once insurance co settled purchased a 2000 w/ 34k. Have been driving it for 8 months, love these cars!

Great for home to job - 2000 Chevrolet Metro
By Robert Ackley - January 7 - 2:00 amThis is a great car is you want to get from point A to point B. I love it, it has great milleage. It might be a little smaller then your average car, but if you want something that is good enough to get you from one place to another with out alot of trouble, this car will do just fine.

I like it, I like it a lot - 2000 Chevrolet Metro
By Whisphers - October 31 - 2:00 amok, ok. So its small, but probably much bigger that you think. This is a car created specifically for the just out of college, kind of got a job, but its far away - no family person. When I bought it, I didnt want a cavalier and focuses & echos were brand new (and not available in my area), so this was I got. I love it. My insurance is cheap and all Ive had to fix is the air filter.

You get what you pay for - 2000 Chevrolet Metro
By BobbyBrown - September 23 - 2:00 amIve owned a 2000 4-dr Metro for over 2 years and have driven it to/from work plus two Texas-MN cross cross-country trips, one of them the winter with blizzards and all. I am VERY pleased with my Metro. Its not a Lexus, but it cost a bunch less than one too. Its also no Yugo. It gets me from A-B comfortably, is very dependable, good on gas, etc. Every once in a while I wish I had this or that car instead, but then I think of all the cold, hard $$$ I am saving.

Basic Transport - 2000 Chevrolet Metro
By Mark A. - August 25 - 2:00 amFor what this car is about, getting from point A to point B it does it, and with little gas. At 62" it is not the car for me but for my wife it works fine. Credit card dollars helped reduce the cost of this car to < $6000 new. So, that helped.
