I love the Maxx - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By Floyd - September 15 - 12:13 pmI looked for a truly new and clean look and found it in the Malibu Maxx. Coupled with good mileage, comfort, and features makes this American car a great value. The V6 power plant is very spicey and makes the Malibu Maxx fun to drive. It is right up there with the Imports in all areas.

Thrilled to the Maxx! - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By xboxt8er - September 15 - 12:46 amI will have to say I am a huge truck guy, but when I got a job in outside sales it was time to lay the truck to rest. The gas mileage on this car is great, average @ 26 mpg. The ride is very good and the 200 hp v6 is amazing. The first week I after I bought it we had to make a trip to Detroit about 1000 miles round trip. I am 61 and my father in law is 63 and we both had plenty of room in the front seats not to mention my sleepy wife and daughter in the back was very comfortable also.

Solid Car, Great Price! - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By Mike - September 14 - 10:16 amThis car is built very solidly, much better than the Malibu it replaces. Nice touches in the center console and the power adjustable pedals and the telescoping steering wheel are nice features on a car in this price range. Good power from the 200 horse V6, seemless shifting automatic, and commendable handling. Biggest drawback is the cloth interior, which is comfortable, but cheap looking. Like most GM products, I got a big discount, and a sweet lease deal of under $200/mo. for a nicely equipped model.

Love my Maxx - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By MaddMaxx - June 19 - 7:20 amI have logged about 9000 miles on my Malibu Maxx. Excellent performance, great economy, and a fun car to drive. I previously drove a Grand Marquis Mercury. This Malibu Maxx is just as comfortable as my Mercury was, and a whole lot more fun! If youre looking for a stylish, economical, great performing car, I would suggest you test drive one.

LOVE IT - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By DEBBIE SMITH-ADDO - April 17 - 3:00 pmJust purchased the LT Maxx a couple of weeks ago. Love the comfort, DVD system, dual sun/moon roofs, leather interior, automatic lights, etc. I think that Ive made a great choice. You get a luxury feeling without having to purchase a luxury car. My husband and five year old loves it also. Lots of bang for the buck!

SMARTEST CHOICE - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By mrfunybuny - January 10 - 12:06 amGets awesome fuel economy. Going 55mph on a flat highway, after the car was already warmed up, I was getting 38-41 mpg. I get 31.8 doing low 70s on hihgway w/ moderate inclines. About 26 with regular suburban driving. I think the car has so much power GM probably could have emphasized fuel economy even more. I think GM was smart to make this engine a pushrod style, simpler, more fuel-efficient and more reliable than DOHC.

Maxxng the Fun in Fair Oaks - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By Rollingbones - September 12 - 1:30 pmWeve waited 3 years to get one of these and thus far am very happy with it. It has lots of zip, is comfortable and best of all feels very natural and at home on the road. I really appreciate the versatility of cargo/seating area. Weve experimented with hauling various things and for a car this size, we consider it a real viable alternative to an SUV (for better fuel economy) as well as being a fun car to drive. It especially handles well on corners and with the traction control should be very reliable in inclement weather. Best of all we appreciate the high safety rating (with side air bags). I feel well protected when driving. This one is a long term keeper!

Sublime... - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By Gaurang Khetan - August 19 - 7:40 amPros: Great ride, handling, steering, comfort, feature-full, very well designed, Great engine, Innovative Maxx concept, great value. Did I mention rear space? Cons: moderate wind noise at high speeds; a somewhat vague feeling in steering and suspension(i love it now) There is no match in this price range. I simply love this car -- in fact, I drive the longer routes, so that I can spend more time in it. The car handles very well, the steering is easy (the variable assist electric steering gives you comfortable and easy control of the steering), ride is quick and very comfortable, the engine hardly makes any sound, car is VERY smooth, a joyous ride (try it once).

Maxx - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By kierkito - August 9 - 11:43 pmBeen very happy with it. Only thing I wish I could add is remote start and heated seats. When you buy one in WI they come standard but this car was a rental in Florida. Dont they want heated seats too?

Great Baby Hauler - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By JB - August 2 - 6:43 amThis car is great for those with babies, and dont want a minivan or SUV. Because the rear seats slide forward and backwards, you can place a rear facing baby seat without losing legroom for the front passengers. With the seats all the way back there is still room in the trunk for a baby stroller plus a trip to the grocery store.
