I love my car - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By Lovelyone - July 21 - 5:26 pmThe gas mileage is terrible compared to my prior Chevrolet Cavalier, but thats what i get for upgrading to a V6. All in all, the car is outstanding. Everyone, including myself, loves it.

Very useful vehicle - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By Timesplitters - June 7 - 10:00 amThis car will give you the most bang for the buck when it comes down to price and actual usfulness in a sedan. It fit a full size lawnmower out of the box without a problem with the rear seats folded down. With the recling and adjustable sliding rear seatsand and a sunroof, the passengers in this car will feel at home. The standard 200 HP engine has a great deal of power and low end torque. The transmission does seem to shift harder than it should when a little extra gas is given. Chevy delivers with a vehicle that has the utility, versitilty, and price to get the job done for the person that wants the extra space in a car.

Happy Birthday, Baby - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By medinamalibu - March 5 - 9:35 amMy Maxx just turned six years old with 61k on the dial. I feel like Im spoiling it with new tires so soon after replacing the battery, front brake rotors, and front ball joints. The DIC threw a "Power Steering" message the day the battery lost its cranking power, but not since. At five years, the drivers seat developed an amazing squeak, so I learned how to remove the seat and grease the mounts. I deemed one rear skylight shade a loss after a $130+ estimate for replacement, which I indirectly referenced in my three-year update. The Maxx is comfortable and maneuverable, and hasnt given me much of any trouble outside of wear items. Some of them are annoying, and some are rather expensive.
