One hundred tewnty two miles - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By linda - March 18 - 12:41 pmI love this car. Hear they are bringing the maxx back. If so I will be checking it out and pass this one on to a family member. I still get 30 miles to the gallon when I travel the freeway and with my local driving I get 25+mpg. Which I think is great considering I do not ..how would you say..like to wait at the green light. I do not use my local dealer but travel to one 45 minutes away because they treat me really good and I feel they treat me fairly. I have only had a few issues and several recall notices and they were promptly taken care of.

Outstanding Value - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By prosdude - March 12 - 6:23 pmThis car has it all; looks, performance and comfort. My girlfriend is especially prejudiced in favor of Japanese cars but within 5 minutes of taking the wheel of this beauty she was impressed. The electric steering is just plain great making the car very maneuverable in tight places. The adjustable pedals are another wonderful feature for a comfortable driving position. I think this car is the best value of any car on the market especially if you have a GM credit card that gives you 5% rebate towards the purchase of a new car. Mine was $19,200 out the door with sales tax and license.

I Want to Keep This Car Forever! - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By maxx_girl - January 14 - 11:33 amI have had many cars, new and used, from MBZs to several other GM cars, and although my MBZ 300 was a work horse, I have never had a car I love more than this. Reliable, attractive, lots of leg and head room, can fit tons of stuff into it, great mileage on the open road particularly, just a great car.

Back to my roots - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By Glen S - January 4 - 6:56 pmReluctant to purchase a domestic car after years of owning Toyotas. Couldnt pass up the incentives. Surprising so, its a much better car than I expected. It handles well, is quiet, a much better looking interior than the bland Toyotas, and its very versitle when it comes to hauling those Saturday morning purchases. Only time will tell if the quality has improved over my last Chevys, I sure hope so. But its still a good feeling to be back in Chevys, a good old USA product.

Mini Limo - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By Fr. Scott - December 10 - 10:00 amI loved this car at first sight. It reminded me of a mini limo with its large comfortable backseats and skylight. The rear seats are also able to recline! The only thing I wish was that I had a DRIVER!

Still Really Love It - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By townhome - November 21 - 1:00 amThe Maxx is simply a fantastic car. It gives you so much for so little money an in 4200 miles it has been totally reliable. The interior room, the hatchback, and all of the little features make the Maxx one of the most satisfying vehicles I have ever owned.

You gotta buy this car! - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By Mark Z - August 7 - 7:40 amHere it is, one year and 30 thousand miles later. The car has performed flawlessly. I am surprized at the average 35 miles per gallon I get on the highway doing 65 Mph. Comfortable and quiet too. Lots of pep from this adequate engine/weigth set. The negatives: The starter randomly sticks and and the car overcranks. The plastic housing on the passenger side front seat came loose. Thats it. I am looking to buy a new one now.

Love My Bu! - 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx
By Kelli Rosey - July 31 - 12:53 amOne of the most surprising things to me after having several 4-cylinder cars is the amazing gas mileage I get with my Bu (I just had to give it a name!). The first major trip we took was a 2,000 mile round-trip excursion to Florida two weeks after buying the car. Wwe got over 31 MPG for that trip! Later, it made the same trip and got 33.6 MPG for the round-trip! This is better even than the VW Beetle we traded in. I love the way my Bu handles and her stunning good-looks. Classy, but still sexy in an understated way, without screaming "write me a ticket, please!." The remote starter is the most awesome feature Ive ever had on a car, cant live without it! I love my Bu!
