Seats are Junk - 1996 Chevrolet Lumina
By GM Junk - July 19 - 2:00 amThe 60/40 non-automated bench seating is several inches higher on the driver side than the passenger. This is when they are both at their lowest points. Also the lumbar support is not designed properly and results in a massive lump that causes tremendous back pain. You have much more head room in other mid- size vehicles. I had to replace the ignition module and sensor at 56,000 miles

Lumina Review - 1998 Chevrolet Lumina
By Nick V - July 15 - 2:00 amI bought this vehicle used with about 80,000 miles on it. I changed out the factory radio with a new CD player, new speakers and a subwoofer. After doing that my car was perfect. Really quiet inside, great handling, Engine noise is practicly non-existant. With the exception of this car not having a sunroof its perfect.

Love my Lumina! - 1999 Chevrolet Lumina
By crowmountain - July 14 - 2:00 amI have been "nearly totally and completely" happy with my 1999 Chevrolet Lumina. The only change I would sugget is that the seats are not sufficiently comfortable for long-haul driving.

Its a Pleasure to Drive - 1998 Chevrolet Lumina
By achilles - July 3 - 2:00 amAfter many scans of automotive reviews the overall look, size, engine and good reports on this car gave me a good feeling and decided I wanted an LTZ with the bucket seats and the console. Surfing the web, I located a 1998 LTZ in Milton, Ontario and after my first test drive I was so pleased that I made an offer immediately. I bought the car in August 2000 with 51,000 kms and have since put another 31,000 troublefree kms on it. Just love the ride of this car and peppy engine...great highway driving car too.

The Lumina - 1997 Chevrolet Lumina
By Buzsaw - July 1 - 2:00 amOur Lumina has been the most reliable and efficient vehicle we have ever owned. The 3.1 engine is economical and runs effortlessly (keep the oil changed and it will run forever). This vehicle is perfect transportation.

Three Times a Loser - 1995 Chevrolet Lumina
By 3 times a loser - June 27 - 2:00 amWe bought this car new with the hopes that the third new GM vehicle that we purchased might make it past 80,000 without major repairs. Our hopes were once again crushed, as before it made 80,000 miles the transmission went out costing $700 to repair, two weeks later the engine started leaking coolant into the crankcase through a blown head gasket which cost another $800 to repair. GM just cant seem to get it right. Too bad, as this will be my last GM product.

I Loved It - 1990 Chevrolet Lumina
By sscooter - June 26 - 2:00 amI wanted a Lumina for almost 2 years before I could afford to buy mine used. I bought it 3 years old, with 102,000 miles on it. It had been well maintained and I kept that trend. When my daughter got hit by another driver, the car had over 264,000 miles. Still the original engine and transmission. Normal expected maintainence and upkeep, but no major machanical problems. The brakes wore out a little faster than other cars Ive had, but that was a characteristic of this model. I had to replace the alternator about every 2 years thank goodness for Pep Boys lifetime warrenty. I had only paid $4,000 for the car...I definately got my moneys worth!
