Bad Luck Car - 1995 Chevrolet Lumina
By smh1543614 - August 19 - 2:00 amNothing but problems, one after another. Do not purchase a Lumina with the 3.4L engine. All repair costs are double, due to increased labor costs...based on parts not being accessible under hood. Car is also a gas hog.

Worth the Money - 1998 Chevrolet Lumina
By robert05 - August 19 - 2:00 amWe bought this car 4years ago and it has performed well overall. The ride is smooth and quiet. The quality of the interior is not the best. Several items such as the driver arm rest and overhead visor have broken. The comment from the service advisor. Its a cheaply made car. The brokes have also required more atttention than I consider normal.

Lumina....A Great Value - 1999 Chevrolet Lumina
By Ray Rack - August 14 - 2:00 amThis is my 2nd Lumina, both purchased as 1 year used from Avis Auto Rental. My commute is 46 miles/day, with 1/3 city and the other 2/3 freeway. I average 28 MPG (UNREAL). Other than a front brake job at 60K miles on my 2nd car, I have had ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS WITH EITHER VEHICLE requiring dealer service. I currently have 73k miles on my 1999 and STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL TIRES with legal tread! A great front wheel drive system: I live on a hill with lots of snow in the winter and have had this car on many mountain dirt roads with absolutely no power or traction problems. Chevy gets a GOLD STAR for this very well designed, basic sedan.

By Katherine Jolly - August 12 - 2:00 amI love my chevy. It runs great at 112K miles and still gets 26 miles to the gallon in the city. I have had no major problems with this car. Great pick-up and a comfortable ride.

92 lumina-great car - 1992 Chevrolet Lumina
By babyshu - August 10 - 2:00 ammy 92 lumina has been a really great car, very dependable, sometimes way over mileage for an ail change, but she has always gotten me there and back.we are just miles short from turning 240k miles and she still runs strong, all original parts.

Not your ordinary lumina... - 1991 Chevrolet Lumina
By drumchum - August 9 - 2:00 amI paid $1,000 for this car this spring (still worth around 2,900.. good deal huh?). When I first got it, my friends did not know what kind of car it was. When i told them it was a lumina, they couldnt believe it. And with the 3.4 200 horse V-6 its not much short of a Camaro. Overall. a good car.
