My First car - 1990 Chevrolet Lumina
By enb74 - March 17 - 2:00 amThe Lumina was the first car I owned. I purchased it in 97 w125K Miles We drove this car everywhere. From NY to Canada to the South you name it. Great car great performance. Brakes wear is a trend of Lumina but not a big deal. Gas Mileage is decent for a used car. We sadly retire the Car at 276K Miles !! Original engine and trany. GM did a good job with this car and I will forever remember that.

Lumina, 1991 - 1991 Chevrolet Lumina
By william clements - March 5 - 2:00 amI have a 1991 Chev. Lumina. It has 171,000 miles on it and it runs great. We have never had any problems with it. It is one of the best cars that I have ever owned. I would put it up against anything.

Lumina: sporty and functional - 1991 Chevrolet Lumina
By Brian H. - February 27 - 2:00 amI have had this car for almost 4 years now. I love it as much as the day I bought it. It is fast, comfortable, has an awesome loud exhaust sound, and a great stereo. It has had a few minor problems like fuel pressure regulator, TCC solenoid, and spark plug wires. Other than that, it has been close to perfect. Great brakes, contrary to what some say. Never touched them in four years, and they dont make a sound or hesitation. Very roomy car, mine fits six nicely.

good car - 1994 Chevrolet Lumina
By shaffer - February 26 - 2:00 amI have had this car for a year. It is my work car and I drive it five days a week. Also driven on a few trips to keep miles low on other cars. It has been a really good car. It has almost 162K miles. Has been well maintained. I have only had to install new fuel pump, water pump and brakes the entire year I had it. Still does not use or leak any oil. For what I paid, it is excellent. Drives very good. Too bad Chevrolet does not make the Lumina any longer.

Disbelief - 1996 Chevrolet Lumina
By Toony - February 26 - 2:00 amI went looking for a used car in the $5000 range, expecting to get some kind of small box. When the salesman showed me the Lumina, I figured it was out of my price range (wrong - after research and playing hardball, I got it for $4100). I put another $500 in maintenance repair at my mechanics shop, and now I have a car that one co- worked thought was new off the lot. This car is great. Its big, can fit both kids comforably in the back, is quiet and quick. I love it.

207000 AND STILL RUNNING! - 1991 Chevrolet Lumina
By Robbi - February 24 - 2:00 amI cant tell you how much Ive enjoyed my car. I have changed the oil every 3k miles and have owned it 9 years. 207,000 miles later, it is starting to let me know its tired. I would guess so!! Although brakes are notorius on the 91, the other repairs Ive made have been minimal. I just replaced the original cat converter & muffler just last week. The engine and transmission have NEVER had problems and are still original. I have just standard plain ol basic interior and still looks good.....except for the dog hair!

Not Bad - 1993 Chevrolet Lumina
By Pancho - February 15 - 2:00 amMy family purchased the car used in 1994. Since then, the Lumina has been a pretty good car. It now has around 75000 miles. The 3.1 engine is still strong. The speedometer only goes to 85, but it can probably do 105-110. We have recently had to replace: struts, a computer chip, part of the torque converter, etc. The drivers seatbelt recently broke, but I was amazed to hear that it would be under warranty. I really like the car because of its dependability.
