Good Family Car - 1999 Chevrolet Lumina
By mma786 - November 9 - 2:00 amOur Lumina has taken care of our families transportation need thorugh thick and thin for the past five years. The car has given us few problems considering the abuse we put it through. The car seats six plus the low end torque really gets you moving. When ever the weather is bad our family prefers the Lumina, because it "just feels more secure."

Yeah mine has 244,000 miles on it - 1992 Chevrolet Lumina
By KatieKoolAid - November 3 - 2:00 amI have had to buy:struts, window motors, fuel pump, blower motor, dimmer switch, brake lines, rear rotors, front rotors, along with break pads and a heater core. My trunk leaks too, which makes for a car that smells like a foot. I cant use my cigarette lighter or my car phone charger in it because it will blow a fuse. My antilock breaks used to go off when I was driving down the road, pulled the fuse on that one. My driver side seat doesnt recline anymore. Than as of last week, air doesnt come out of the vents anymore and my cruise control decided it didnt wanna work anymore.

Excellent 97 Lumina - 1997 Chevrolet Lumina
By ldg - October 31 - 2:00 amI bought this car used with 32,000 miles on it. It now has 114,000 miles and has been a great car. Only the alternator has been replaced. Normal brake work on Luminas - no surprise. I am very satisfied with this car - very few problems and now has 114,000 miles!

Great Car - 1991 Chevrolet Lumina
By pjkt01 - September 30 - 2:00 amI just bought my 1991 Chevy Lumina Eurosport w/ TURBO, its a nice ride with excellent gas mileage. I just put new brakes and rotors on it and thats all it needed. The brakes arent as touchy as I am used to but oh well, Other than that it rides great, killer pick up and excellent gas mileage.

good family car - 1996 Chevrolet Lumina
By denise5374 - September 9 - 2:00 amI bought this car brand new. It now has 87000 miles on it and it has been a good car. Other than routine maintnance not much ellse has had to be done. Recently, the spark plugs wires and one fuel injector needed to be replaced. I agree with the poor design of the armrest cup holder, mine broke off after 5 years. The onlly other complaint is the CD player stereo system my CD broke after 3 years and it would have cost $200 to repair.

Old reliable - 1992 Chevrolet Lumina
By Massimo - September 8 - 2:00 amWe got "Lumi", as I call her, back in Jan. 2k w/ 180k on it from my father-in- law, who purchased it new. "Lumi" has been a pleasure to own. She currently has 232k on the orig. drivetrain and continues to run beautifully. the 3.1L v6 runs like a top and rear disc option is nice. Only things I have done are maintenence items. This car just keeps on going.. and cosistantly knocks off 24 mpg avg. I highly recommend this car to anyone, young, old, married w/ family, or single. Comfort, reliable, economical. Its currently up for sale, because my wife wants to update our vehicles, but man Im reluctant to sell this "GEM".

saright - 2000 Chevrolet Lumina
By clark inwald - September 3 - 2:00 amhad the car for two years now and no repair costs except for the security system (which proved expensive but only because it was misdiagnosed). Quick enuf, responsive enuf, solid feel, smooth, versatile.
