LS Review - 1997 Chevrolet Lumina
By paramedic13100 - March 7 - 2:00 amThis car has taken me through hell and back without once burn. Great build quality, and good performance. I put it through an average of 35,000 miles a year and it just smiled and kept on running. Best car Ive had so far. 140,000+ miles and still running strong!

a boring car - 1995 Chevrolet Lumina
By Tombennett - March 2 - 2:00 ambought for 6 grand with only 27k at 5 yrs old. good power from reliable engine, nice styling, back seat is huge, but at expense of front room. I had to replace rotors, and brakes are not the best in general. No other repairs in 3+ years. Handles like a beached whale, though. If the seats were not so mushy, and the interior not so cheap plastic-ey, I would like it a lot better. But, with a wax job, and those alloy wheels, it looks damn sharp in the driveway. And, with the money i saved driving boring cars like this, I live in a half million dollar house. Not so bad for a school teacher

A good side and a bad side - 1996 Chevrolet Lumina
By ljouvdee - February 28 - 2:00 amThe car was bought brand new. It is very spacious and I absolutely love the sound system. The best thing about it is that it can really take a hit without doing hardly any damage at all. Unfortunately there are many things wrong with it. I have had to get the brakes repaired many times and had to get my engine re-built before it even hit 80,000 miles. Recently I had to get a new alternator at 90,000 miles. Too many repairs, but maybe I just have bad luck.

Black 3.4 l - 1995 Chevrolet Lumina
By Black 3.4 - February 26 - 2:00 amThe 3.4 spun a rod bearing at 50,000. Ever since I have a tack noise in the upper end of the motor. Otherwise it has been a great car to own/drive.

great car!! - 1998 Chevrolet Lumina
By dogloverMom and five - February 16 - 2:00 amJust recently sold to my best friends mother, so it would stay in the family. Very good car, always started right up even sitting in frigid Indiana winters outside all night. Never had any problems besides very minor issues.Hate to get rid of it, but got a new SUV.This car got us back and forth on several vacations, and drove great on ice and snow.

OK car. - 1998 Chevrolet Lumina
By argekay - February 15 - 2:00 amBought used with 75,000 miles. Had to replace the turn signal assembly on the steering wheel due to inoperative brake lights. Engine has very noisy metallic sound when started cold. This is a known defect. Noise goes away when engine warms up. Fuel gauge is useless. It is not accurate at all. Cup holder is broken due to flimsy design. That being said, the car is reliable all around. Nice quiet and solid ride. This is the best chevy product I have owned, but my next car will be a Toyota Camry.

Road Warrior - 1998 Chevrolet Lumina
By brewerfan - February 15 - 2:00 amCar has been a work horse for 6-years. Very dependable with little to no maitance (expept oil changes). Actually went 135K miles before changing the plugs and was still getting 28 mpg on the highway. Body design and interior leave a bit to be desired, but all in all a very good value over the course of the six years.

Super Car - 1992 Chevrolet Lumina
By tar rat - February 12 - 2:00 amThis thing wont die. It now has 174,000 miles and runs great. The few negatives are the ABS, which quit working at about 50,000 miles, and the placement of the battery. At 12 years old, the car just now starting to show a little rust.
