Overview & Reviews
The supercharged Impala SS joins the lineup for 2004. Besides offering 240 horsepower, the SS features a tightened suspension to allow it to take corners with a bit more gusto. Base and LS models have redesigned bench and bucket seats, and a sport appearance package is now available on the base sedan.
- Six-passenger seating availability, good crash test scores, torquey V6 engines.
- Vague steering, soggy suspension on base and LS models, low-buck interior.

I absolutely love this car to death. - 2004 Chevrolet Impala
By Jamie St Amand - February 27 - 11:57 amI absolutely love this car. For a 2004 and for when my husband and I purchased it in 2013 its an absolute value. We got it with about 145,000 miles on it. Weve had to do some minor repairs on it but thats about it. Great car overall. Corners well, drives great, runs great, and the supercharger tops it off! I can get from the beginning of a freeway entrance ramp at 0 and be at 100 by the end of it even on a short ramp. I love to drive this car and I want to get another one eventually. I highly recommend the impala cause they last through everything as long as you take great care of them.

Impala--feels like a luxury car - 2004 Chevrolet Impala
By clinical sw - February 22 - 10:00 amI do a lot of driving in my work and this car has the most comfortable ride and roomy interior. My back is well supported and I love the leather upholstery I chose to include in the Impala I bought. The ride is smooth and the steering tight and responsive. I love my Impala.

Impala - 2004 Chevrolet Impala
By Ralph Gilnack - February 4 - 10:00 amI am extremly happy with this car . I think it is one of the best produced. Plenty of power ,quite a bit style on the interior as well as the exterior. The heated seats are a big plus and the large trunk is most welcome. The power seat on the passenger side is very helpfull for my wife. The auto dimming rear view mirror is much appreciated as well as the heated outside mirrors. One feature I neglected to get was On Star, the next car will definately have that system. The gas mileage has been in the 29 to 30 mpg on the highway and about 24 in town which is not the best but not too bad. Over all this is a real winner. Very good Dealership!

3rd owner 182k miles - 2004 Chevrolet Impala
By Tony Bretto - January 9 - 9:39 pmI bought this car for 700... These are very good cars, people aint they are bad either dont take care of them right, abuse them or they got a lemon. This Impala is definitely not a lemon... With 182k miles l and rising, the engine runs very good has a nice mean sound to it, I test drove other Impalas they didnt sound like this one.. It has decent pick up, wish they gave the base model little more power slightly heavier than most sedans. Havent had any serious problems yet no check engine lights. Nothing. Ive floored this car about 8 times since i got it, nothing has gone wrong. At 182k miles. So people who see this, MILES DONT ALWAYS MATTER. If u think this car doesnt have enough pickup change youre plugs and wires, oil filter, air filter. Your engine has a lot to do with your performance (of course)
