Overview & Reviews
The 2007 Chevrolet HHR benefits from a small increase in output for both engines. The 2.2-liter is now rated at 149 horsepower and the 2.4-liter goes up to 175. An HHR Panel model, with windowless side panels, debuts later in the model year.
- Smooth and quiet ride, lots of cargo space, attractive interior, excellent visibility, versatile sound system.
- Mediocre handling and braking, engines lack refinement, some low-grade plastic trim and quirky ergonomics.

HHR Review - 2007 Chevrolet HHR
By HM52425 - February 13 - 9:01 pmEven though I have only had the vehicle for a short time, I am very satisfied with the vehicle. I had researched the vehicle for several months, and this proved to be the best vehicle for my needs. I drive 72 miles , one-way to work, on a daily basis. The gas mileage is good (30+ MPG) and comfort is excellent.

i love my HHR always - 2007 Chevrolet HHR
By love my HHR always - January 29 - 11:29 amI feel it is a very comfortable car given the price range. The biggest attraction of this car is its unique retro style from the 1949 Chevy Suburban. I really love that old style with a mix of modern features. Another good thing is the mileage and the seating is really comfortable, leg room. The visibility is OK, but not great because of the unique body shape and windows are small, but that is a not a problem as i get used to it. The biggest problem is the depreciation of the car value. SO , may be a used car would be a best bet. But overall, i recommend this car who love the old style.

Value received - 2007 Chevrolet HHR
By John - December 12 - 4:28 pmFor the price (under $23,000) out the door and every option in the book sans sunroof, how can it be better. 16,000 miles later I have averaged 27+ MPG. With back seats down it carries a prodigious amount of stuff. With the back seats up it will still carry a lot of stuff and 4 TALL passengers with ease. I had an 04 PT Cruiser and it would do neither.

GAS MILAGE - 2007 Chevrolet HHR
By SEEKER - November 6 - 11:35 pmI bought my HHR in May 2009. I have only had it for 6 months, but I have had no problems and I can get up to 40 miles on highway. Maybe thats be cause I drive a stick and I do drive a ways back from semis to cut the wind shear. I love my car. Only complaints is the arm rest seems to high, I cant stand that my window controls are in the middle, and the little windows make me feel like I dont have enough visibility. To many blind spots.

All I hoped that it would be - 2007 Chevrolet HHR
By Michael Miller - October 6 - 10:33 amI love this car. I consistenly get 26.5 miles to a gallon around town and on the freeway. My average speed in use is 30 mph. I roll it at 70 on the freeway and combined with my street level average 30 mph. Handy layout lets me haul large items. Plenty of pep in small engine.

Happy Haughty Respectable - 2007 Chevrolet HHR
By Tim - August 15 - 12:43 amFrom the first time I saw an HHR on the road I wanted one. Now the proud owner of a bright orange eye catcher, I can tool around town in style and hit the open road with pride. After six kids and 22 years of marriage i finally found the car / suv that the kids like and my wife wants to drive more than me. My recomendation; buy one. Heck... buy two.

2007 hhr - 2007 Chevrolet HHR
By ford - August 12 - 3:04 pmI have had my HHR since November 2008 bought it used with 32,000 miles came with 12,000 bumper to bumper warranty from chevy. The dealership will lie to keep from doing anything under warranty. My wipers have quit repeatedly during rain storms. I make an appointment to get it seen to and they lie and say they checked it out but didnt. I have two recalls for my car but the dealership wont even schedule me to get the repairs done. says I dont really need them. the car did not come with runnerboards or mud flaps so every time you drive anywhere near gravel it flies up the side of my car and skins the paint in front of the back door and the warranty doesnt take care of that either
