Overview & Reviews
Antilock brakes are standard on all models for 2006. Heated cloth seats are now available on the LT, the LS features body-color fascias and the LT gets body-color rearview mirrors.
- Long wheelbase affords plenty of interior room, fore/aft-adjustable rear seats, high crash test scores, available side curtain airbags.
- Limited choice in drivetrains, confusing stereo control layout, slow steering response.

Excellent SUV - 2006 Chevrolet Equinox
By Jake - June 14 - 5:03 pmI really did some reserach on this class of SUVs and decided on the Nox. I couldnt be happier. Great ride, smooth shifting, great styling. Also, very safe.. with excellent crash ratings on all four sides as well as side curtain airbags. Great for kids, lots of legroom and space for them!

Nice vehicle - 2006 Chevrolet Equinox
By FrankG - March 10 - 5:40 amWe have had it only two weeks now, but my wife, who is the principle driver, really likes it. We also own an 05 Saturn L300, which I now use for work as I travel a lot. Both vehicles are very different, but are serving us well. We are curious how well the AWD will perform this winter here in Massachusetts.

Good SUV but needs better gas milage - 2006 Chevrolet Equinox
By Glenn - February 11 - 9:56 amFor me, the seating is one of the best features. I have two artifical knees and one hip, so getting in and out is important to me. This car is one of the easiest ones to sit in we have had. Also being a snow bird that travels back and forth to Florida a couple times a year, a little larger gas tank would be desirable.
