Part of a growing segment of plus-sized small crossover SUVs, the Chevrolet Equinox splits the difference between compact and midsize utility vehicles and offers roomy accommodations in a five-passenger layout. Like other vehicles in its class, the Equinox emphasizes style, amenities and day-to-day practicality over more traditional SUV attributes. In short, the Chevy Equinox is a fine choice for commuting to work or transporting pets, but it's not suited for towing, or anything more rugged than a gravel road.

Although the Equinox has always had a roomy interior and an easy-driving nature, the plain styling and low-quality interior materials in earlier models are none too impressive by today's standards. Later versions of this Chevrolet crossover have made big strides in quality and are available with more desirable features and engine choices.

  We have only had our Equinox for a week now but absolutely love it. We traded in a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee V6 and dont miss it at all. The price of the LS is very reasonable and the features you get are really impressive. The inside of this car looks like one of $30+K price-point. Power from the 4 Cyl. is fine, we are not speed demons and notice very little difference from our Jeep V-6 and this, except the Equinox is WAY more efficient. Eco mode and standard is hard to tell any difference, a little more shifting in ECO mode but thats it. Awesome car!

  This vehicle is so much fun! It is roomy like an SUV, but drives like a car! It gets great gas mileage, and is so sporty!

  I have been driving a van for the past 20 years. The Equinox is so superior to all of them. Easy to handle and VERY quiet....I can finally enjoy my music while driving. A great choice for families (the baby seat fits in so easily when I pick up my grandson). And I love that the front seat folds down flat to allow for long items (such as a tree from the nursery) to be carried home.

  I love it! I was knocked out when I saw it. Looks better than a Lexus and performs great but at less than 1/2 the price.

  Leased a 2018 Equinox LT AWD. Great Styling, Plenty of Room ,Handles great with a lot of Pep. My second Equinox and Chevy did a great job with the remodel. Apple Play is great and Chevy My link Touchscreen is a big improvement.

  So I heard Chevy was coming out with this new truck, and i had to see it. I loved it at first site and bought it the next day. Everything about it from the in car cd rack to the map pockets on the side of the shifter are such awesome features you wont find in other cars. The cargo room is exceptional, allowing me to fit 10 wardrobe boxes which are about 6 feet tall in the back of the car. The car is quite large on the inside allowing for everyone to fit comfortably. Plus Ive been getting more compliments from random people on the street about this car. Check the red color out its awesome.

  This vehicle runs and rides smoothly. It has the look and feel of a more expensive vehicle. Friends and family are very impressed with its styling and rear seat leg room. The steering is precise and responsive. The sound system controls work pretty slick once you figure them out and the AC is nice and frosty.

  My experience with this vehicle has been great. I had a Trailblazer before, which I liked, but this has so much room inside. It has a great ride, too, and I havent had any problems with it.

  I have always had a convertible, because I like my car to be fun! When I saw and drove this car I saw it was a really fun car! I bought it and love it!
