Model Overview:

Part of a growing segment of plus-sized small crossover SUVs, the Chevrolet Equinox splits the difference between compact and midsize utility vehicles and offers roomy accommodations in a five-passenger layout. Like other vehicles in its class, the Equinox emphasizes style, amenities and day-to-day practicality over more traditional SUV attributes. In short, the Chevy Equinox is a fine choice for commuting to work or transporting pets, but it's not suited for towing, or anything more rugged than a gravel road.

Although the Equinox has always had a roomy interior and an easy-driving nature, the plain styling and low-quality interior materials in earlier models are none too impressive by today's standards. Later versions of this Chevrolet crossover have made big strides in quality and are available with more desirable features and engine choices.

the equinox suv was a three month wait.but worth it. the suv has everything , heated leather seats, cd player, sunroof, AWD, comfortable ride and a purchase price under 25k. hard to beat that.

We love the look...very stylish and appealing to the eyes! Has so many great features for the price. Love the sharp looking dash. Premium stereo system is awesome! They should make power driver seat standard on the LT model. Headrests on rear seats are a bit too large... but not bad. Only have had this car for one week, but we look forward to "putting some miles" on it during vacation, etc. Im noticing some quick looks and glances from others on the road.

This is the most stylish, reliable SUV you can probably get for your money. My last three cars have been Chevys, but the Equinox has been the most eye catching, fun to drive experience I have ever had. I am so pleased with my choice, you will be too!!

My Chevy Equinox if fairly new, but have to tell everyone my great experience. I have fallen in love with this vehicle from the first time I actually got behind the wheel. Ive been a Chevy man for years and this SUV has captured me again. Ill never buy another car again. This is everything I have wanted in an SUV.

  • Chevy Hits a Homerun - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox

After a summer of searching, Im glad I waited for the 2010 Nox. At 67" I couldnt squeeze into the Rav, CRV, Santa Fe..... It came down to VW Tigan vs. NEW Equinox. Chevy won hands down based on expanded cabin size vs. 09, MPG and overall value. It fits in my garage better than my old four door sedan too....an added bonus! Dont expect much off sticker or incents given on other Chevys. But grab one quick before they figure out they put too much into the 2010 for the money. This one competes with SUVs in a larger class.

  • Love almost everything - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox

We have owned this car for about 7 months and have 10K+ miles. Overall we have been very pleased. This is the entry level car. We average about 19- 24 MPG ( this is disappointing). Power is alright and it handles well.

  • Like my Nox - 2005 Chevrolet Equinox
    By -

I have had my Nox for 7 months, and have had no problems at all. I am not overly excited about my gas mileage. I live in Pittsburgh with hills everywhere, and average about 17 mpg in city driving. As for the window controls on the center console that everyone complains about, my bosss Mercedes has its controls on the console also, and it costs about 3 times as much as my Nox. My only complaint is the turning radius seems to be way too big for the size of the vehicle. Besides this, I have not one bad thing to say about my Nox. I love it.

  • Good for the traveller - 2005 Chevrolet Equinox

This car is great for those who need to travel. It has room, but gets pretty good gas milage (20 mpg). Rides well and is loaded with convenience.
