  I purchased this car new and have never been disappointed for one minute. I have owned over two dozen Corvettes, some with very wild motors. This is the best daily driver I have ever had, any car. After 4 years I still get thumbs up, and that is in Southern California with modified cars and hot rods on every corner. I have 8 cars to choose from and the ZO6 is my first choice to drive.

  For the price of a new Lancer Evo or WRX STi, you can purchase a very clean, used Z06 and smoke those 4-cylinder hairdryers all day long. The 2001 Z06 with 385hp & 385ft-lbs of torque launches from a standing start like a Trans-Am race car. Add an intake, LG long tube headers and a good exhaust to a 2001 Z06 and youll easily match the 405hp found in 2002-2004 models. Dont be afraid to rev the engine. Unlike the older C4 and early C5 motors, the Z06 engine doesnt hit its horsepower peak until just over 6000rpm. Handling is fantastic for practically every twisty road in America. Only dedicated track drivers may find it a little soft.

  Although I have had only one year of driving this car I can honestly say I grin ear to ear every time. With the top off, the glass roof or the matching coupe look, this car looks like its going 100 MPH standing still. It has easy access and egress even for the older folks. Twin power adjustable seats snuggle you into a comfy cockpit. Once you let out the clutch on this amazingly forgiving manual 6 speed the car purrs away just like a Honda or Toyota. The car is that easy to drive!. But step on the gas the car transforms into a jet on wheels. The active handling keeps you safe and straight but lets you fly. This car is AWESOME

  Great car. What else can you say about this rocket sled? Awesome vehicle, superfast, the pick-up is simply unbelieveable. You can be at the front of any traffic line, and everybody can smell your rubber (if you so choose). But heres the thing - you know what it can do, and so do all the people around you, so why show off? Youthful exuberation maybe. Youll enjoy it.

  The Corvette has been my dream car since my teen days. Now that I finally own one I know what the phrase "dream car" really means. It truly has been a dream to own. Fun and comfortable to drive. Great gas mileage. The seats are extremely comfortable I average around 28 MPG highway. A true dream car.

  This is my love. The energy from this car is extreme. I do not have to drive it over the speed limit to know what it can do. What a "rush" when you push the power. You feel it! I love to drive it on a curvy road, because it hugs the curves like no other car. When I drove it to Kansas City, I averaged 26.7 miles per gallon. The interior fits like a glove everything is at your fingertips. Its a beautiful car. I have had it almost three years and have not had any mechanical issues with it.

  If you want an affordable American car with huge amounts of bang for the buck then look no further. This car will beat anyting under $100,000 by seconds around a race track. Poor Vipers.....very fast in 1/4 mile, but poor brakes and handling hurt overall performance. If you want German or Italian performance without the price then her you go.
