  A good car to have - 1995 Chevrolet Corsica

  The best feature of this car is the gas mileage. I get 32 to 35 mpg on the long trips that I made to Texas. The air conditioner has always worked well. I like the interior lights that shut off in case you forget to. It has not broken down with me, though one sensor went out that greatly affected performance. I found the seats easy to adjust. However, my wife did not find them comfortable for long trips. The back seat is cramped.

  Ive had this car for 3 years and have put 52000 miles on it.for a total of 136000. I mostly only had minor issues with it as you would expect with an older USED car. after 100,000 miles it started having little weird problems like the ABS light would come on for no reason, the brakes needed replaced, the cruise control stopped working but over all worth the $.

  I agree with many of the reviews listed here. The car seems to age quite well (150K). Any repairs needed are often very affordable. My biggest complaint is the paint job. It does not do justice for how the car runs. It has crossed my mind several times to get it repainted. All in all its a great city car that will last you longer than you think.

  For what it is -- a very inexpensive family vehicle -- this car has been great to me. Bought it in 97 with 24K and have put 120K more on it myself. NEVER have had any drivetrain trouble at all. The 3.1 V6 is a solid motor. Only had to replace alternator and radiator. However, the braking system is weak and I have had to put a LOT of sets of brake pads on. To be fair, though, I have driven the heck out of this thing. I drive hard and fast about everywhere I go (except in school zones and neighborhoods!!) and shes been right there with me.

  high maintenance car,complete nightmare,stay away from it.Its in the shop once a month.Now I realize why I got it so cheap.Extremely mad.Junk. Will never buy a another Gm product again.Would buy Chrysler first which is very sad.Maybe their all not like mine but I wouldnt want to take a chance.Ill send you copies of my repair bills.

  my corsica just hit 204,000 miles, I have beet this car hard over ther years but kept the fluids changed and filters were replaced 2 or 3 times. this car still runs like new but as others have said the paint has peeled off hood and roof, But no rust. if I could get my hands on another one with 150,000 or less I would jump at the chance

  I picked this car up from an older women she is the only owner. Car was well taken care of. The car seems good on gas and is reliable. Great first car for a teen!

  I purchased this car from my grandma in 2001 with 26,000 miles on it. It is VERY reliable and quite fast too. I beat Civics all the time in racing. I love my Corsica and wouldnt give it up for any other car. The only thing that is bad about this car is the paint job. As soon as I get that done then it will be perfect. If you treat these cars with respect then they will give you many miles and years of reliable service.

  Only minor problems over the years except evaporator core in air conditioner had to be replaced while under extended warranty in about 97. Air went out again in 02 and will need condenser. Also lots of problems when first got by trying to use ash tray/cup holder as cup-holder. Always messing up gear shift indicator. Finaly quit using it after taking back to dealer several times while uder warranty.
