First car had 128k when purchased. Thought it was horrible because of the paint but it ran perfect. Drove it for 2 years and now have 149k miles. It still runs perfect. Headliner has fallen, seats are harsh on lower back after a couple hours. Replaced R-12 refrigerant with R-134 for A/C. Replaced rear shocks because of excessive bounce solved the problem. Nothing doesnt work!

This was my grandmas car before mine. I was expecting a typical "granny" car but when I got it, my first time driving it was from WI to FL. Despite its non-sporty look, I was amazed at the power in this car! I had looked at Civics and Camrys before receiving this car and I am definitely glad I got this one. Mine is a 6cyl 3.1 which I dont see on here, but I have amazing power. I havent had any problems with this car so far. I had to get some body work done after my aunt got in an accident with it, but even having it in a shop for 2 months, I still put on over 20,000 miles in less than a year. I guess big things really do come in small (and plain) packages! I see this car lasting a while.

  • A Great Second-Hand Car - 1995 Chevrolet Corsica
    By -

I purchased the Corsica in Nov. 97 and have driven it 280000 km with only routine mtnc and very few repairs. This is the second Corsica I have own the first was a 4 cyl, I much prefer the 6cyl. The 6 provides lots of power and a nice hwy ride. If I find a low mileage Corsica, Im going to get #3. Its not luxury, just a plain and simple good used car.

Excellent car around town. Comfortable and economical. Easy to park, easy to drive. Seldom required repair, but those were inexpensive.

  • Good Car - 1994 Chevrolet Corsica

I have had my car for less than a year, and it has been one of the best cars I have had. I love the way it drives. It can handle what most normal cars cant. It is one if the first cars that can keep up with me. Performance wise it is a dream, but the body could look better. It is in great shape, and I wash it and clean it up good like 2 or more times a week,(I work in auto detailing) but it could be prettier. The front of the car has a funny shape, but the rest of it is fine. I love this car.

  • Steady as she goes... - 1995 Chevrolet Corsica

this car was a rental before I bought it with 29,000 miles. it now has 133,000+ miles. I have the 4 liter and agree that it is a "dog". i have had some repairs, but the car keeps going. I change the oil every 3,000 miles. It sits outside all winter and only has a small area of rust by the front passenger door. And it starts every time. Hopefully I will get a couple more years out of it. I like it and would buy another if they still made Corsicas.

  • Ugly but very good for an American car - 1993 Chevrolet Corsica
    By -

I bought this car from a Rental Agency after 1 year and 25000 miles. Its always been a little loud around the manifold. This car has been solid for 200K miles. The 3.1 V6 engine is a great engine. Good combination of pick- up and gas milage. The interior is very comfortable for its size/class. The car is butt-ugly (white and square) so you wont get alot of respect amongst your peers. There were frequent break-jobs and a couple of wheel bearing problems over the 10 years, but maintenance costs were lower than most domestic cars.

  • Extremely Comfortable And Reliable - 1990 Chevrolet Corsica
    By -

This is my very first car and it holds its name for a 15 year old car. This car is roomy, spacious, finely designed for a car of its time, and has proved quite reliable and strong after running 10 miles with no coolant, Redlining on the highway for about a minute (Long Story), and about 5 minutes of driving with it overheating. Even through all of this, it still runs in perfect condition and with regular maintenance, i am expecting another 50,000-100,000 more miles out of it. This is definitely a car that shouldnt have been taken out of production

  • 91 green corsica - 1991 Chevrolet Corsica

I bought my corsica used in 1992. My mechanic has put on new oil seal, maniforld gasket, rear brake cylindar, new water pump, and a few minor things. I have had this car maintenanced on a regular basis oil, coolant, plugs etc. It has been a good car. But it is old and I just bought a new minivan. If you need a good used car try this one. I think I will sell mine out right because I did not trade it in.
