  • Just one opinion - 1996 Chevrolet Corsica

I bought this car used, it now has 73,000 miles on it. I have had the fuel pump replaced and now the "crank sensor"? ($25.00 part, $165.00 labor) The passenger side carpet gets wet when the a/c runs. Paint chips. Other than that, the car is a good car...(so far, I have only had it 2 years)

This has been my first car. It had about 33,000 miles on it when I received it and havent put too many on it. The paint job is easily its biggest problem - and even that isnt too bad. The car still "purrs" like when I first got it, runs well, and uses gasoline efficiently! This is a very, very sturdy car and has a few good years left in it!

Nothing fancy, it has been reliable. New AC Compressor at 115,000. no other problems.

  • What out for the Head Gaskets - 1996 Chevrolet Corsica
    By -

I have had this car since it was brand new in 96. It has 73,000 miles on it and the Head Gasket went. Its going to cost me a pretty $700 to get it fixed. The mechanic doing the work said that Corsicas are notorious for this. He alone has replaced 25 head gaskets on Coriscas. If you buy one, what out for it.

This car isnt worth a whole lot and cant do much.Once you get above 65 you can go any speed pretty quick. The acceleration sucks but Ive been getting about 45 mpg. Good reliable car for a teenager.BORING FOR AN ADULT.

A great car for just getting around...not fancy, but quite reliable. Bullet-proof engine (3.1l) requires minimal maintenace and has great highway power. With some prevention, the body has lasted without any rust.

I have driven this car in all types of weather. Snow to Rain. Love how it handles. Has great acceration. Nothing wrong with this car except the paint chips. That is it though.

  • Good car for a money - 1990 Chevrolet Corsica

I got this car 3 years ago. It runs well, accelerate faaast. I had minor problems but nothing serious (water pump, muffler...). Great first car.

  • College Car still pumpin - 1993 Chevrolet Corsica
    By -

Got this car in college and now, ten years later its still going strong. I am rough on cars I drive too fast and over objects all the time - this car can take it. Its a tank. And drives like a good tank - the V6 is very swift when you need it. Of course, some things happened. The hood latch broke and it needs new oil every 3000 miles. I went through a lot of tires (my fault) one alternator and some cooling problems but for the money (under ten grand) this car was beautiful. I hate to sell mine, but at 206,000 without major repair, its days must be numbered - or maybe not.
