I bought this car used, and I have not had many problems at all. Alot of people told me that Corsicas tend to stop working after they reach 100,000 miles, but mine seems to be doing just fine. I bought it with a little over 50,000 miles on it and the only problems I have had is sometime it tends to flood inside when it rains really hard. Other than that it is a good affordable dependable car. Another thing it did that I wasnt sure about is I have gone through 2 alternators in less than a year, but maybe that is my fault, I am not the nicest on my car. Good car.

I just sold my 95 Corsica and I must say it was a great first car. I dont believe I could have gotten a bigger and more comfortable ride for the price they sell Corsicas. The ride was smooth and luxurious and stopped on a dime. The stereo amped and getting 440 miles/tank gave it a great cruising range. Although the paint started pealing after 4 years, an oil leak, and failed alternator, the car was very reliable. If they still made them, I would have bought another in 2002.

Currently Ive got 202,000 miles on the original engine/transmission with no major repairs and the car still starts and runs every morning. The 3.1 V6 is a great engine and has been recently relegated to towing over 2000 lbs of household goods several times cross country -- 3200 total miles. Religious adherence to the maintance schedule has kept me on the road and free of breakdowns. Im looking forward to replacing worn seats and other interior parts. Im shooting for another 100k. Shes not the fast or flashy, but dependablity makes all the difference for me.

Put 700.00 dollars into it over the paqst few months, it needed a new alternator, and gaskets. Since we fixed those glitches, it runs great. It needs new tires, and has a crack in the windshield, the interior is okay besides the ceiling has a few minor tears.

  • Best $12,995 (new) I ever spent.. - 1996 Chevrolet Corsica

Has survived 2 accidents and 1 minor "rear-ending". I am amazed how strong the engine is on my beater. Thank God I BOUGHT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY--or I would be in serious debt over this vehicle. This car went through 3 batteries, 3 alternators, a power steering pump, 2 Oxygen sensors and numerous sets of brakes. It also goes through tires like crazy due to the shabby suspension, but thanks to GMPP I didnt spend a dime and got to test drive numerous higher end vehicles. The engine (V6) will long outlast the chassis. Its good for a beater, be rough with it and it loves you back. I will miss it.

A 96 Chevy Corsica is the first and only car Ive every owned. Ive never had a problem although it seems to be developing a few minor ones. Mostly the radiator system. The cruse hasnt worked since I bought it.

  • Im so glad I have a car - 1991 Chevrolet Corsica

The price was right for the year and everyone has told me what a good car the Corsica is. I needed a good car to get back and forth to work with as my car was in a reck (not my fault) So this may not be my last chev Corsica Ive only has it one day and I like it so far.
