Overview & Reviews
Not much. An upgraded stereo with a CD and MP3 player is now available on the base coupe and sedan. The Sport Appearance package that includes 16-inch wheels, a rear spoiler and sport suspension is also available on the base coupe and sedan.
- Low price, torquey four-cylinder engine, optional satellite radio and OnStar.
- Ancient design inside and out, cheap interior materials, poor build quality, low resale value, poor side-impact and front-offset crash test results.

Great Car! - 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier
By cdorrell1 - October 9 - 10:00 amI just purchased my 2004 cavalier 08/15/03. I love this car!! I highly suggest the 5 speed transmission as it is way cool and very fun to drive. This car gets great gas mileage and is a true gem to drive!

Chevy show off - 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier
By bluefin995 - August 15 - 2:00 amWhen I first saw the car I was not to impress but once I got a chance to drive it I knew I would buy it. It is fun to drive, comfortable to get in and out and has good style on the inside. The instrument cluster is set up to be easy to view and to get to.

Nice Little Car - 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier
By REMICH - August 10 - 2:00 amThe Cavalier is a lot of car for the money. Plenty of power and torque, handles well and gets good gas mileage even at 75 mph. The style should be updated though. The chassis is pretty solid, but I have an annoying squeak in the front suspension that they only seem able to fix for about 2000 miles at a time. The manual 5 speed takes some hunting for gears and even after 10,000 miles I still get the wrong gear sometimes. All in all though, its well worth the $10,700 I paid for it.

Nice little car.... - 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier
By jdkeene - July 10 - 10:00 amFirst time buyer. Have found the car to be very good on gas mileage. 33 mpg. My daily commute is 18 miles one way. For such an inexpensive car it has all you need. CD, AC. Only time will tell on on how it stands up, but am pleased so far.

A Couple of Problems - 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier
By LP - June 10 - 11:15 pmI have had my car for about 2 1/2 years, its been pretty dependable for the price, but I have had some issues with the gauges. My RPM gauge stopped working first, followed by my fuel gauge, and now my speedometer is starting to work on-and-off like the others did before they stopped working. I havent bothered to get them fixed because Im about to trade it in, but I wasnt too happy about that. However, its a great starter car.

Bang for your buck - 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier
By Ben SaintOnge - May 10 - 9:22 amSporty looking, good car for a cheap price. Cheap and easy to maintain. Sound system is nice with Mp3 and XM. Slave cylinder went at 45,000k, but pretty good overall. Tops out at 107, so its pretty fast

I LOVE THIS CAR! - 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier
By judymay - April 3 - 2:00 amThis is such a fun car to drive.I dont think it is cheap looking inside or out.It handles well on curves and easily keeps up with interstate traffic. For under 20 grand I think it is a good buy.I love the bright yellow,it really stands out and looks sporty without the sports car price !It beats the grandma toyota that my dad wanted me to buy! I plan on keeping this car for a long time and will buy another one when the time comes.
