  • Attractive & Powerful - 1992 Chevrolet Caprice

The best looking vehicle ever designed combined with V8 power and a roomy interior makes this the perfect car for anyone, but, especally familes. Unless youre towing a lot of cargo, the 20.4 cubic ft. of trunk space plus the 5-passenger (6 if kids are in the back) leaves much to be desired in the way of an ugly SUV. Low maint. and 100s of thousands of miles will go by before you have to get something else.

  • 2-1/2 ton Corvette! - 1995 Chevrolet Caprice

Theres a reason the police have been using Caprices for over 30 years. Powerful Corvette V-8 engines, heavy- duty steel frame, solid construction, and superb reliability. The Caprice was designed to take anything criminals could throw at it. If a pursuit Caprice can last 250,000 miles with all that abuse, imagine how long it will last for the typical driver!

Sold in 1998, traded in for a 1998 Tahoe. Driven to North Carolina from Michigan twice. Towed a pop-up camper through the Smokey Mountains in low- gear without breaking a sweat. Put a lot of use on it.

  • POLICE CAPRICE! - 1995 Chevrolet Caprice

Shes a great cruiser, unbelievably nimble in downtown streets and tight spaces, given its size fantastic handling crazy power and amazingly reliable motor. Heard of a few taxis with 500+ thousand miles on the clock. How can you beat that? Sleeps four, seats six without a freakin third row!!! This is the car Ill tell my grandkids about ad nauseum. This car is the poster child for the slogan, "They dont make em like they used to!"

  • Best of 40 Cars Ive EVER HAD!! - 1996 Chevrolet Caprice
    By -

Ive had 40 cars so far. From Cadillac to Toyota to Suzuki, etc. Some have been used, but a majority have been new. I can safely say my 96 Caprice is the "smoothest, quietest and most comfortable car Ive ever been in" and thats saying something since I have been in BMW, Mercedes and Lexus (the supposed standard) Cars before. Lots of room inside. From what Ive seen these EASILY go 200K+ miles and with long-life fluids/timing chain, maintenance will not be a chore (like Japanese/German Cars). Sad to see it go, I will cherish mine.

160000 miles and not a drop of oil. Like a rocket ship.

  • Caprice 9C1 Police Package - 1994 Chevrolet Caprice
    By -

I bought the car 2 years ago with 162,000 miles for $3200 on eBay from a local city police department. I drive the car 85 miles for day to work and get 20 mpg. Its big, roomy and solid. Now with almost 200,000 miles (engine replaced at 87,000 by police dept) a few things are wearing out but nothing of a siginificant cost.

  • Caprice - better than an Impalla SS - 1994 Chevrolet Caprice
    By -

I purchased my caprice from a small dealer who got a ton of them from the florida highway patrol. The exact model is called a 9C-1 and is a police pursuit package. It has the 5.7 liter (350) V8 engine like the Impalla SS, plus, special suspension, brakes, heating and cooling systems. You could buy three of these for the price of one SS and have a great ride ...
