  • This car is absolute junk! - 1995 Chevrolet Blazer

This is the worst Chevy ever! Oil lines broke, destroying engine (there is no mention anywhere in owners manual that the oil lines should be replaced at regular intervals) egr valve has to be replaced every 2 years. I replaced the fuel pump, fuel pump sending unit, nut kit, both handles that recline seats broke, windshield wipers work once in a while, brakes work so-so. 4x4 needs constant maintenance. Rust around rear wheels. Ive owned Chevys for 40 years ands this will be my last one ever! No wonder they are losing market share to Japan.

Anything that could go wrong with this vehicle did go wrong. Although I was religious about regular maintance, there were always problems. Major Transmission problems, Major Brake problems and constant AC problems. I spent a good $3000 a year fixing and refixing the constant problems. Im not buying another one of these vehicles ever again

This was the worst car I have ever owed. I was stranded many times due do the EGR issue. I have 16 service write-ups for the same issue and this does not include the times I had to immediately return to dealer because problem was not fixed or car died when exiting dealers service area. This vehicle was purchased new and it was a piece of junk. When I finally got rid of it I had to have it towed to the dealer. This was a common problem that GM was aware and they were not helpful.

The worst thing I ever did was buy a beautifully kept up Blazer for a move across country. After over $1,000 in repairs before I got out of town (brakes, brakes, new radiator, brakes again.. egr shmee-g-r, oil change, etc) and another $350 on the road, in the middle of nowhere, for a new fuel pump, the thing lasted only 5 months thru the winter (without 4WD, which wouldnt work) before the engine blew. This car was very well taken care of by the previous owner and myself. Who knew? I knew there was a reason my Dad made that face when I said I was buying a Chevy. I guess after the Citation in the 80s he knew what was up.

  • wish Id bought a Toyota - 1995 Chevrolet Blazer

One of the poorest vehicle buys I have made: Brakes are terrible, replaced engine due to remote oil filter failure. Electrical problems plauge it. 15 mpg is nothing to write home about. Sways side to side too much. Interior rattles due to poor fit & finish. Plastic trim on exterior falling apart, door hinges broke on driver and passenger side. CD player died. Would not recommend to others.

  • Good Looks Bad Personality - 1995 Chevrolet Blazer

The Blazer looks really nice but buyer beware of good looks. I have had to replace the EGR valve twice. I had to have brake work done for 1,500. The transmission needed an overhaul for 2,000. Then the spider on the fuel pump went out. I am not waiting around to find out what will break next. I feel like I should send it off a cliff so no one has to go through all this again.

  • No Thanks on Blazers - 1995 Chevrolet Blazer

The quality and reliability issues make them not worth the price paid. Very bad value.

This vehicle ate batteries, ball joints fuel injecters and fuel pumps. Had to fix several oil leaks. It rides like a lumber truck, which makes the interor ratal and squeek and fall apart.
