  • Keep looking. - 1994 Chevrolet Beretta

Bought this car when my trusty old 1988 Chevy Celebrity was put out to pasture. The Beretta was nothing but a headache. Poor design of steering column the turn signal lever snapped in 1/2 after 6 months. Cost $200 to repair (!). Transmission went out -- twice. Head gasket started leaking. Alternator went out -- twice. Brakes were constantly going. Money and prayer kept it going to 167,000, when I got new Impala (which I have been very happy with). Almost didnt buy GM again b/c of this car, though....took a good deal on the Impala just to get me to look at it.

  • Its alright. But Im ready to get rid of - 1995 Chevrolet Beretta

I havent had the car for even a year and it seems like day after day the car get weaker and weaker. Im not saying the car is bad in any way, but I prefer excellent performance and I am not getting that in my Beretta. After I purchased this car from Dinacolas, aka signature in Spencerport, Ny. My only dislike about the car is how easy it rusts, and the fuel economy. I could drive 20 miles and i would lose 3/8s of a tank of gas. Other than that I loved the car, but its time for something new...

  • Amazing machine - 1991 Chevrolet Beretta

This car has to be the best idea that Chevrolet has ever come up with. All around its a great car with more positives than negatives. Im sure that if I had bought this car brand new that it would have never broken... I got it used so I cant control how they treated it, but I treat my baby like I would a best friend. It treats me the same way and thats why I love it.

  • I shouldve kept it - 1991 Chevrolet Beretta

Last spring my cute little Beretta died. Something to be expected from an 11 year old car w/ 150k+ miles. So I bought a 2000 Blazer. Shouldve resucitated the Beretta! It gave me 8 years of good driving. I only started having problems w/ it in the last 6 months I had it. My new car has been in the shop 3 times in the year Ive had it.

  • Great vehicle - 1992 Chevrolet Beretta

I bought the car at 141,000 miles and it still looked and ran great. I drove it for a year and a half and put about 22,000 more miles on it in that time, having only to replace an alternator and the exhaust. I drove that car hard too, and it kept on taking the pounding. The fuel pump finally went on the car just recently, and due to the vehicles milage, I decided against fixing it. Now Im looking to buy either a 96 monte carlo or another Beretta, this time a 94.

AT 79,000, the engine and trannie are very strong. Its small appearence is misleading. It does have power. SOund system is great. excellent control of the road. Great for a fist car!!!

This car has been a pain since I bought it. One thing after another has gone wrong with it. The head gasket has had to be changed twice. The engine head had to be replaced. The transmission went out. etc, etc ,etc
