Overview & Reviews
Cadillac redefines the American luxury car by debuting an all-new Seville that boasts the performance, style, refinement and technological innovation necessary to play ball on a global level.
- Engineered for world markets. Smooth V8 power. Full load of standard equipment. Contemporary styling. Plenty of electronic doo-dads to wow friends and neighbors.
- Still too much evident cost-cutting in terms of materials to rival Japanese luxury cars. Poor retained value history. Plenty of electronic doo-dads to ring up big future repair bills.

By Larry - December 9 - 12:28 amMy 1989 Seville STS is my first Cadillac and I dont think that it will be my last. I love it! The seats are so comfortable, the motor is very powerful, the ride is very smooth and it looks very good.

By wjries1 - May 14 - 2:00 amThe car is a real pleasure. Only concern is electronic are a hit or miss. Front bumper appears loose but dealership(s) say that is the norm.

98 Seville SLS - 1998 Cadillac Seville
By Mr. Bean - November 20 - 2:00 amMy wife and I purchased this vehicle used in 2000. We have had to replace the drivers seat heater (the whole cushion)that was warrantied. One electric window motor warrantied. Oil changes are more than normal the Northstar V8 holds about 9 quarts of oil. Great comfort and conveniences but an expensive vehicle overall to maintain.

Stands out in the crowd - 1998 Cadillac Seville
By Paulie - July 1 - 2:00 amThis is a great car. Definitely stands out amoung the zillions of BMW 5s and MB E-classes around here, which are as common as Taxis in NYC. Great performance, cool features. The automated stuff like lights, radio volume, door locking, etc actually works when you want it to. Excellent cruiser. Had a few minor "typical GM" problems, but nothing significant
