Overview & Reviews
A luxury crossover SUV, the Cadillac SRX utilizes components and construction more often associated with cars rather than the rugged truck-based underpinnings GM uses for its more traditional SUVs. The result is a more comfortable ride and better handling, along with plenty of versatility unless you need to tackle heavy-duty chores such as towing or off-road travel. Typically priced below European rivals, the SRX makes for a genuinely appealing alternative thanks to its distinctive styling, pleasant driving character and feature-rich cabin.
If you're shopping for a used Cadillac SRX, you'll find early models with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and options like a third-row seat and a V8. Later versions of this Cadillac crossover are a bit smaller, with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, two rows of seating and V6 power. Although the newer version sacrifices some space, power and performance, it offers a significantly nicer interior with upgraded materials and technology.

Everything you need to know but.... - 2005 Cadillac SRX
By Ron - March 27 - 2:11 pmAfter studying the data available and test driving numerous SUVs, I bought the SRX. And, I havent been disappointed. Put it through its paces on a twisty road and although not up to my C5 Vette standard it was alot of fun. The interior is very roomy and quiet with great visibility.

New SRX - 2007 Cadillac SRX
By tonygxp - March 21 - 5:11 pmI love our new AWD V6 SRX. It has the Luxury/Premium seat packages, power pedals, and is Silver with an Ebony interior. It drives great and handles excellently when tossed through the corners. Having driven it near its limits at a C&D ride and drive last year left the feeling that it could be our new vehicle when our Envoy went back. Who can beat the deal, with the great finance rates and rebates I got this one for $500 under invoice with just a phone call. The fact that I bought from the biggest Cadillac dealer in the country might have had something to do with it. I too am hitting mid-15 mpg area in the city, but on the highway straight cruising at 75 mph I was seeing 25-27 mpg, which is not bad for an AWD, 4,300+ lb. vehicle. The hidden compartment above the glove box is terrific.

Brand New 2006 SRX - 2006 Cadillac SRX
By dctex99 - March 18 - 1:08 amI love everything about the SRX. I just bought a brand new leftover 2006 model at a great price. It handles well, gets a lot of looks, and I got a great price on it in early 07. I highly recommend it.

Very Reliable - 2005 Cadillac SRX
By Tom Grohl - February 28 - 7:42 pmI have had my 2005 SRX for two years and have driven over 30,000 miles. I have only returned to the dealer for oil changes and tire rotation. This is a very reliable and pleasurable vehicle to drive. The build quality is excellent. I would recommend this car to anyone seeking a luxury crossover.

SRX - 2007 Cadillac SRX
By Gary - February 28 - 9:10 amOne day after we got the SRX, a snow storm hit. The SRX got around in 6" snow without any problems. The vehicle is very comfortable to drive. It has much more interior room than the CTS we traded in. Its gas mileage is not anywhere near the sticker numbers, but it is improving.

I Like My SRX - 2007 Cadillac SRX
By Kurt - February 26 - 7:08 pmThis is a great crossover. We moved from a larger SUV to the SRX. It drives like a car and still has most of the space of our larger SUV. It is fun to drive.

Big Piece of Junk - 2004 Cadillac SRX
By earle - February 22 - 5:48 pmThis was the worse vehicle that we have ever purchased. During the time that we owned this SUV, it was in the shop for repairs constantly. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will never purchase another GM car. We just purchased a new Lexus RX400h and love it. There is a huge difference in quality and it is worth the difference in price.

Rock & Roll! - 2004 Cadillac SRX
By Spadalac - February 20 - 2:00 amAt the age of 39 I the age group that Cady is focusing on to make their comeback. I can tell you that they have NOT disappointed. This vehicle is one of the most enjoyable rides that I have ever driven and I am not comparing to SUVs only. Comfort, handling, response are all top notch. The interior is roomy and sporty although not as nice as I would have wanted. This car is pure heavenly to drive however the price tag is steep and GM may have a harder time selling a vehicle at this price to GenX ers like myself.
