  lemon from the beginning. Poor quality in assembly, poor dealer support, in fact dealer support borders on legal theft. attitude of customer NO service deplorable. Very uncomfortable for extended trips

  As a former Mercedes SL driver and Porsche 911 driver, I was pleasantly surprised to have so much road feel in this Concours. The 300 HP also is a delight to drive. Was unhappy with the lack of an in dash CD player, however found a Bose on e-bay from a newer model and fits great (a dealer needs to re-code the deck).   I have a slight vibration at 42 which is a shift point. It seems I`m the only one that feels it. I can`t detect it in passengers seat.

  bought this car new, a few problems during warranty period, none since, great comfortable cruiser, quietly powerful, my wife and I love it for short trips and even more for long trips and so far we have only had to put on new brakes and tires. A wonderful car!

  Good Enough - 2002 Cadillac Deville

  I brought this car for the sole purposes of road trips. I must say this car fits that role perfectly. The inside is good enough for comfortability. The handling is good enough to handle the tightest curves. Gas Mileage could be better, but on the highway, good enough. When I brought this car, I wasnt looking for the god of all cars, but what I was looking for was a good comfortable ride. That is what I ended up with when I brought my Cadi. Treat the car good and it will treat you good. Shouldve got a Lexus. If you would have, you would have the same complaints.

  Solid, dependable, fast, decent mpg, impressive curb appeal, has many safety features for both car and driver, large trunk for suitcases while traveling.

  Probably too much of a vehicle for most "lite" Americans these days. All 300 horse hit the ground on request. Car hangs flat when flinging around turns to a surprising degree. Beautiful leather seats, nice wood trim. No mechanical problems even with the lead-foot thrashing it endures daily. I live in the Plains and dont spend a lot of time sucking exhaust in traffic jams.

  If you get the Deville de elegance. Be prepared to spend money if you switch to a aftermarket stereos.

  Sorry for the others who think that Cadillac is a car less luxurious than Mercedes, BMW and Audi!!! For me, THIS IS THE BEST CAR on luxury market!!! And for reliability, its EXCELLENT. When I drive my DTS, everybody look the car at each road corner with a smile!!! Some of them told me that this car is more beautiful than a S500 Mercedes or Jaguar S-type!!! Finaly, sorry for those who think that Cadillac isnt reliable and say a lot of bad things about this mark, you were just unlucky when you bought it!

  Except for 3000 mile services and replacement and maintainance of water system, transmission and fuel filter this car has not required any other work. Oh yes, new tires and brakes have also been added.
