By KeithTally - March 23 - 2:00 amThis is the nicest car we have ever owned. Had a Cadillac ten years ago that was ok, but this one is outstanding. The only thing they could have done better is provide a little more up-graded interior..ie. window visors look/feel cheap...vanity mirrors look/feel cheap...The car handles great, is a joy to drive and ride in...best cruising car. Roomy/comfortable/luxury...really nice car. Look forward to driving it all the time. We got the Bose stereo system..outstanding...and OnStar is worth every penny...this car practically drives itself.

By Caddylover4ever - March 17 - 2:00 amWhen I was looking for a car to buy I came across the cadillac deville, it was love at first sight. When i first purchased this car I felt like a million bucks. It has a great sound to the 4.9L V8, and is still quite fuel economic for its size. It is a smooth quite ride, with tons of space and comfortable leather seats. The exterior is beautiful with the hood ornament and chrome grill. This car is built so well that it most likely could last up to 230,000 miles. Every little feature to this car is excellent! if you buy this car youll be noticed!

No reliability - 1998 Cadillac Deville
By Brian Kass - March 6 - 2:00 amWhen most everything starts to wear out after only four years and 60,000 miles you know that you either have a lemon or there is a reliability issue. Brakes are terrible. They wear out too fast--pads and rotors and for four wheel disc they do not stop the vehicle like they should. The engine uses too much oil. Air conditioner, radio antenna, electronic level control, door locks, door window motor, egr valve, and the list goes on and on. We even had the driver side headlight lens blow off while going down the highway.

My seventh Caddy - 2002 Cadillac Deville
By Pensy Richard - March 2 - 2:00 amThis is a very nice car to drive. Reasonably quiet and good gas mileage. My only negative is that the brakes were lousy. I had to have all 4 rotors replaces by 25000 miles. After that, and a new set of tires, the car ran much smoother and stopped like it should. The local dealer treats me well and takes care of minor warranty issues with no hassle. A good buy.

Nice but beware - 1998 Cadillac Deville
By Dave Eman - February 29 - 2:00 amThis is the nicest driving car ever. The motor is more than powerful, and the ride is silent. BUT, General Motors has short warranty periods for a reason. There is a lot that goes wrong in the vehicles midlife, so beware. Check engine lights are common and can be easily cured by a small piece of black tape. If you want a great car for the first 40k miles, this is it. If you want longevity in a car, this isnt it.
