2000 DeVille - 2000 Cadillac Deville
By 2000 DHS - May 7 - 7:48 pmThe trade-off between handling and comfort is excellent. For a large heavy car with a relatively powerful V8,the fuel ecomony is very good. I changed the front tie-rods and front engine mount after 60,000 miles. Also, the front seat warmers no longer work and the Northstar engine burns oil. Other than that, this is a great car.

Eighth Cadillac for an Old Fan - 2005 Cadillac Deville
By rixrox - April 25 - 8:52 pmMy Cadillac number eight is a pearl white STD edition. It is simply elegant and has ample horsepower. It is a great snow car and it is a nice trip for my ego. I never feel bad in my DeVille. What a wonderful American dream car! Its my love affair and its be going on for awhile. I really never get tired of owning Cadillacs. Test drive a few of them to find the one that calls your name!

Smooth As Silk - 2002 Cadillac Deville
By CDR - April 17 - 10:26 amThis car is the nicest ride around for the money. The power of the Northstar engine may surprise some people and the interior is as plush as it gets. It handles well for a car of its size. The monochrome paint job gives the car a sleek, sophisticated look. You cant go wrong with black on black.

Great used car for the money - 1997 Cadillac Deville
By bobkat - April 15 - 12:54 pmFor those of you looking to pick up a reliable, safe and comfortable used sedan need look no further than the 97 through 99 Cadillac DeVille. It has all the luxury features you want and then some... The Northstar V8 engine is powerful and gives that nice "V8" growl when you give it some throttle. The sunroof (moonroof?) is a nice feature and is very quiet when open - even at highway speeds. The CD changer in the trunk is great! It has power everything and the most intelligent lighting system Ive ever seen in a car. It turns the headlights on when needed and somehow even knows when to dim the dashboard lights and when not to - amazing. The 97 DeVille gives you excellent value for your used car dollar.

Makes me Feel Like a King - 1990 Cadillac Deville
By Eric - March 28 - 7:58 pmWhen I finally had it with foreign make cars, I found this beauty at a used car lot and to my surprise, it was very cheap. It was only cheap because the driver door didnt open at all. After a test drive, I knew I had to have this car. It had about 121, 000 miles on it but drove like it had only 1,000. Everytime I get into it, I feel nothing but pure relaxation and like I can drive for days at a time. It still needs some minor work, but I am making this classic my new hobby and gonna restore this thing to its orginal beauty.

99 Deville - 1999 Cadillac Deville
By tc2lb - March 21 - 10:46 pmIn my opinion the 1999 DeVille is one of the best Cadillacs ever made. The comfort of its ride is surpassed by none. It has plenty of horsepower to float down the highway. The interior is full of gadgets and comfort. Need I say more?

Best Value for a Used Luxury Car - 2004 Cadillac Deville
By ChuckW - March 21 - 11:18 amI bought this 2004 lease return vehicle with 30,000 miles on it in the summer of 2004 for less than $25,000. Thats Toyota Camry territory. It is quiet, comfortable, and gets 27-28 MPG on the highway. It has a full factory warranty thru 50,000 miles and I bought an aftermarket warranty through 125,000 miles. My wife drive this one while I drive either the 98 Seville with 135,000 miles (another lease return bargain bought 5 years ago) or the 94 Fleetwood lease return with 200,000 miles bought in Dec 94.

if i could do it again - 2005 Cadillac Deville
By frank - March 15 - 8:49 pmI was looking for a comfortable car as I travel extensively. When I first sat in my DeVille I thought " this is the car". After a short test drive I purchased. Now that I have owned it for two weeks, I would give it back if I could. The front seat are totally uncomfortable. No matter how I set my power seats, I cannot get past the lack of back support. On the highway, I am continually making corrections to my steering due to "floating". I like the appearance, but there are better cars out there. I wish I had purchased the Avalon!

It is the CADILLAC of cars - 1998 Cadillac Deville
By Dave - March 10 - 9:18 amThis is my first Cadillac. I have owned two Lincolns, an Oldsmobile 98, and a Chrysler "New Yorker." None of the other cars came close to the DeVille. I can set the cruise control on 80, and drive all day getting 24 miles per gallon. On a two lane highway, I can step on the gas and the 4.7 liter "NorthStar" engine accelerates like a sports car, making passing safe and quick. Its comfort is great! Im 66 years old and can drive all day and feel fine. Its handling is REALLY great for such a large car. Maintenance is minimal. I have had to replace one headlight. It is no wonder people use the word "Cadillac" to describe top shelf products of all types.
